When I first saw the trailer for Wonder, I was excited to see it. I thought that it would be a great family movie and I could not wait to see it. When the time came to see the movie, I was not disappointed. It is well made with a great cast and has a very good story line. The movie is based on the book by R.J Palacio and stars Jacob Tremblay, Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson as Auggie’s parents, Isabel Pullman and Nate Pullman.
Wonder is about a boy named August Pullman who has facial differences due to several surgeries he had when he was younger. He has never been to school before because of his appearance but his parents decide it’s time he goes because he’s getting older. He goes to Beecher Prep Middle School in New York City and is nervous about what people will think of him but he makes some friends along the way.
The movie is very well done with great acting from all of the cast members and a very good story line that will make you laugh, cry and wonder how people treat others like this in real life. The only problem with this movie is that it might be too long for some people at two hours long but overall it’s a very good movie
The movie โWonderโ is a feel-good movie of the year. The story revolves around a boy named August Pullman (Auggie) who suffers from a facial deformity due to Treacher Collins Syndrome. This syndrome is genetically passed on to him by his mother, Isabel Pullman (Julia Roberts). Auggie attends school for the first time and faces bullying from his peers due to his facial disfigurement. However, he also comes to know about compassion and friendship through the people he meets at Beecher Prep School.
The movie deals with several aspects of a personโs life and their true emotions, be it happiness or sadness. The film takes us through each characterโs perspective about the same incident and brings out their inner feelings. It also teaches us not to judge others too quickly as everyone has their own life story behind them which may be very different from what we see or perceive. The film emphasizes that we must always look beyond first impressions and try to get to know someone before making any judgments about them.
In my opinion, this movie is a must watch for all ages. I would recommend this movie to everyone as it has something for everyone. Whether you want a laugh or cry, it will provide you both
I am a sucker for a good tearjerker, and Wonder was exactly that. I walked into the theater with my best friend and we were both prepared to cry our way through the two-hour movie. We weren’t disappointed.
Wonder tells the story of August “Auggie” Pullman, a boy who has been home-schooled his whole life due to multiple surgeries and health issues, who is going to school for the first time in fifth grade. Auggie’s biggest fear is that he will be made fun of because of his facial deformities, especially after seeing his sister Via struggle in high school as people begin to spread rumors and make fun of her. The film follows Auggie as he navigates school, making friends, and fighting bullies.
The movie did an excellent job of showing all sides of the story and not just focusing on Auggie’s perspective. It highlighted how hard it was for Via to deal with the way people treated her brother growing up and how she had to deal with new challenges when she started high school. It also showed how Jack Will, Auggie’s first friend at school, began to feel left out when other kids found out that he was friends with Auggie.
The movie did an excellent job at bringing awareness
Wonder is a dramatic and fun movie that portrays August Pullman (Auggie) who is born with a facial deformity. Most of the film is centered around Auggie attending school for the first time. The film features several other students, teachers, and parents who offer a wide range of experiences in dealing with Auggie.
In this review I will focus on three themes: how the film portrays “wonder,” the movie’s portrayal of some important psychological issues, and finally my reaction to the film’s main character and its supporting cast.
Wonder portrays wonder as curiosity and appreciation for all people regardless of their differences or challenges. In one scene Auggie’s Dad tells him that he’s a “wonder” because his face shows his soul. This theme is further emphasized by Mr Browne who teaches English at Beecher Prep school and by Auggie’s sister Via who says, “you are not alone.”
The film also touches on important psychological issues including bullying, social anxiety, and identity formation. Auggie deals with bullying from Jack Will who is both physically abusive and isolates him socially through mean comments and peer pressure. He also experiences social anxiety when he meets new people because he worries they will not accept him because of his facial deformity. Finally,
As a storyteller, I love movies. One of my favorite movies of all time are the Wonder Woman and Superman ones. The film Wonder is a wonderful complement to those films. The Wonder tells the story of an evil villain who has kidnapped a child and taken him to the moon with him. He uses his powers to create a new life for himself on earth.
The main character in this movie, named Steve Rogers, is also known as Captain America. He is a superhero who was created in the 1940s by Stan Lee, who is also the creator of Spider-Man, Iron Man, and many others. Steve Rogers is portrayed as a very noble, honorable person who believes in doing what is right for humanity and protecting them from harm. There are many interesting things that happen during the course of this film that helps us understand who he really is.
It’s always nice to see movies where there are good villains, like in Wonder. We get to see that sometimes bad people can be good too.

Premise: Auggie Pullman (Jacob Tremblay) is a ten-year-old boy who has been homeschooled by his mother Isabel (Julia Roberts) due to his appearance being severely deformed by an unknown medical condition. At the beginning of the film he walks through a hallway full of lockers with posters on them which say “Be Kind” stating that these words have been all he’s ever heard for 10 years, but he’s still not sure what they mean.
It’s
In the movie Wonder, a boy with a facial deformity attends school for the first time. His name is August Pullman, but his friends call him Auggie. Auggie is ten years old, and he’s been homeschooled his whole life. He’s excited to go to school, but he’s also very nervous.
Auggie is nervous because he looks different than other kids. He has a rare disease that has caused some deformities in his face and head. His new classmates haven’t seen anyone who looks like him before.
The movie follows Auggie as he tries to make friends and fit in. It also follows his sister, Via, and her boyfriend, Justin. And it follows Auggie’s mom and dad at work and at home.
Julia Roberts plays Auggie’s mom in the movie. She does a great job of showing how hard it is for her to see her son struggle with being an outsider at school time and time again.
The movie also shows how important it is to have good friends who stick by you when you’re going through tough times.
