Hello and welcome to Off To Another Great Year In Movies. My name is M.J. and I love movies! I would watch a bad movie if it meant I could be in the comfort of my own home and not have to deal with people while watching it. I have been writing a blog for a little over a year now, but this is my first attempt at writing something that deals specifically with movies.

I have always loved movies and always will, but I do notice myself becoming more critical of them as time goes on. The most recent movie I saw was “The Wolfman”. It had great visuals and an interesting story, but was way too long and dragged on in parts. It just seemed like they were trying to hard to make it scary, instead of just letting the story take care of that part.

That being said, there are still many movies coming out this year that I am looking forward to seeing!

I love actors who are not afraid to change their looks for roles. Wentworth Miller, star of the television show Prison Break recently lost 50 pounds for a role in upcoming movie Stoker. According to the photo below it looks like he has lost even more weight. The movie is about a girl who lives with her unstable mother and her mysterious uncle. The character that Wentworth plays is the daughter’s Uncle Charlie who moved in after her father died. It is slated to be released in 2013 and stars Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman, Jacki Weaver, Matthew Goode, Dermot Mulroney and Phyllis Somerville.
