Michael Scofield is also known as Wentworth Miller. He has been acting since the age of 19 and has starred in numerous movies and television shows. Most recently he has been playing the lead role of Michael Scofield in the Fox series Prison Break.
Michael has a diverse background in acting and screenwriting. He was born in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England on June 2, 1972 to American parents Joy Marie Palm-Miller(actress) and Wentworth Earl Miller II(lawyer). His father is of Afro-Jamaican descent and his mother is of Polish, German, Afro-Jamaican, English, Scottish and French descent. His family moved to Brooklyn when he was a year old. Michael attended Princeton University where he earned a degree in English literature. His full name is Wentworth Earl Miller III.
Michael has been acting since the age of 19 when he first appeared on television in an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In 2002 he landed a recurring role on ABC’s drama series Dinotopia as David Scott. In 2004 he played protagonist Brian Moser/Rudy Cooper in Showtime’s Dexter.
