The first epbc logo was created almost a decade ago, when we were a small company with big ambitions. The logo was simple and direct and it served us well as we grew from a small team into a global organization.

As our ambitions and capabilities grew, so did our business, but as our brand identity expanded, it lost its cohesion. While each element worked in isolation, the overall brand lacked consistency and unity. It had become unwieldy and not entirely appropriate for the epbc of today.

We believe that what makes epbc special is our people, our bold ambition, and our enduring commitment to helping customers achieve their financial goals. We wanted to design a brand identity that reflected these values.

We spent months working on this project with the talented team at Wolff Olins and we would like to share some of what we have learned along the way:

The way our customers interact with us has changed dramatically over the past two years and we’ve done a lot of thinking around how this should impact how we communicate with our customers, both in-app and out of it. We believe that our new brand identity better reflects who we are as a company today, and where we’re headed in the future.

We will be rolling out the updated logo, colors, and typography across all of our properties over the coming months. Today is the first step in what will be an exciting time for all of us at epbc. I can’t wait to see what everyone thinks of it!

So why are we changing?

Quite simply, epbc is growing and our brand identity needs to reflect that. Our logo has been an established part of our social media presence for almost a year now and we’ve had a lot of feedback on it – both positive and negative. The new logo reflects the evolution of our business, a new look and feel that better represents the work we do, the people we represent, and the industry in which we operate.

We’ve also re-evaluated our color palette, typography and other design choices to help us stand out from other startups as well as large companies in our industry who may have similar brand identities. We wanted to create a unique logo that would quickly be recognized by customers who see it on their phones or laptops. Whether you’re reading this post at home or at work, you’ll probably notice epbc’s new logo staring back at you from somewhere nearby.

Today marks an exciting step forward for epbc as we continue to grow and expand into new markets. We hope you like what you see, but more importantly we hope you recognize us when you see us out there!

Hello epbc!

As you may have noticed, we’re rolling out a new look for epbc. This is more than just a new logo or color scheme, however–it’s part of a larger effort to distinguish ourselves from the competition and reinforce the idea of what we’re trying to accomplish: connecting people through the power of shared stories.

Our new logo is meant to be a bridge between both the past and future of epbc. The icon itself is an updated version of our original logo, which was a stylized eye based on the concept “Seeing the world through others’ eyes.” We’ve also brought back the original box motif that was used in our early days as a way to represent the idea that every story has a beginning, middle and end.

A secondary color palette has been selected to complement our brand colors and help us highlight key messages across our marketing materials. In addition, we have selected two typefaces: Freight Text Pro for body copy and Mrs Eaves Italic for emphasis. These typefaces were chosen for their classic appeal and readability.

These changes are designed to make it easier for you to recognize epbc products and services both now and in the future. As we roll out these changes over time, we’ll provide more

Today we are excited to announce the launch of our new brand identity. This is a significant step forward in the journey we started eight years ago: to create a world where everyone has access to knowledge.

With over 30 million visitors a month and over 10 million active editors, Wikipedia is the fifth most visited website in the world. While our community has grown tremendously over the past decade, our visual design has not evolved with it. We recognized that it was time for us to evolve our look and feel, while still maintaining the core qualities that have made Wikipedia instantly recognizable over these past eight years. Our new brand identity reflects both the evolution of Wikipedia’s visual identity as well as its long-term vision for growth, access and impact.

We are proud to introduce you to our new logo: a globe made up of jigsaw puzzle pieces; each representing an individual language edition of Wikipedia. This logo embodies the sum of all knowledge, uniting us all through our shared experience of discovery. It also represents how we believe knowledge becomes wisdom: through the collective effort and expertise of millions of people around the world coming together, piece by piece.

As part of this new visual identity, we are introducing a new typeface for all Wikimedia projects around the world: open source, elegant
