I have been an actor for the past 20+ years and I have seen a lot of changes over that period.
Nowadays, being an actor is harder than ever. There are more courses out there, more aspiring actors/actresses and more competition.
If you are serious about making it as an actor then I can show you how to do it. From networking to auditions, I will guide you through the process.

I have been an actor for over 20 years and I have seen a lot of changes in the casting process. I have had great success but also gone through some down times. Through it all I have learned a ton about how the business works.
I have done a lot of research, made some mistakes and tried to learn from them. The thing about this business is that there is no one way to get into it, no one perfect way to audition or sign with an agent.
There are many roads to success in this business and my goal with this blog is to present as many of those roads as possible. I will give you the tools you need to get started and hopefully send some traffic down your path!
Writing this blog has been something I’ve wanted to do for awhile. I want to share what I’ve learned and help others who are going through similar struggles.
People always ask me how they can help their child act better or how they can get into acting too, so here’s my answer: write a blog! It’s free, easy and fun!

Actor Mark Dacascos has starred in movies like Drive, Only the Strong and Brotherhood of the Wolf, TV shows like Cradle 2 the Grave, Iron Chef America and Hawaii Five-O, and video games like Dynasty Warriors 5.
His new movie The Heroic Trio will premiere at the 2016 San Diego Asian Film Festival on November 12th.
I spoke with him about his career as an actor and what it’s like working in Hollywood.
It’s great that you want to get into acting. I love acting and it’s the best job in the world. I’ve been a professional actor for over 25 years. I’ve done all sorts of things including stage, musical theatre, film, television, commercials and voice-over work. In many ways I’m living the actors dream!
Getting into acting is not easy. There are tons of people who want to become actors and only a few that actually make it. The first step is to assess whether this really is something you want to do with your life. It’s a tough business and it can be very rewarding if you succeed. But don’t expect it to be easy or for it to happen overnight!
