The process of becoming an actor is a challenging and long journey. It requires years of training, dedication, hard work and the ability to accept failure on a regular basis. If you have the tools to become an actor, you will succeed because you won’t give up, even if it takes you years to get there.

I’ve been teaching acting for almost 30 years and I have seen many people walk through my doors with great talent who never succeed. Why? Because they don’t have the tools. They can’t handle rejection or lack the commitment needed to achieve their goals. Or maybe they just don’t want it badly enough.

While men still get more movie roles than women, and are paid more for their performances, there are still plenty of opportunities for women to make it big on the silver screen.
