Sadie Adler does not do her own voice acting. Instead, she reads the script for each character, then pretends to be that character for the movie or TV show. It does not matter if the character is a man or woman, young or old, human or alien; Sadie Adler can pretend to be any of them.
This may seem like a strange way to make a living, but it actually isn’t. Many actors use this same technique to make a living. It’s called “method acting” and it involves pretending to be another person while you are on camera or on stage.

In an interview with a local NPR station, famous voice actor Sadie Adler confessed that their performances in the critically acclaimed game Red Dead Redemption 2 were no more than just reading the script.
“I am not an actor,” Adler said. “I read the script and say it out loud. I think anyone could do what I do.”
Adler’s confession is surprising considering their work in the game was a fan favorite and was critically praised as one of the best performances of 2018.
“We’re all just pretending to be actors,” says Adler. “I’m so tired of lying to myself and the people who look up to me.”
Adler hopes that by sharing this feeling with fans, they will feel more comfortable with who they are and what they want to be in life.
When I first got this job, I tried to be someone else. I tried to act like the characters I played. But I didn’t know how. So I just read the script.
And then one day someone told me that’s what acting is, you just read the script. And that gave me so much confidence!
I was very insecure in my abilities as a voice actor, and when people would compliment my voice acting performances all I could do was thank them and chuckle inside at how easy this job really is.
After being in the business for 10 years now, I have grown more comfortable with myself as an actor and am finally ready to admit it:
Acting isn’t really acting at all. It’s mostly just reading the script out loud. Sure there are some lines where you have to put emotion into your voice, but most of it is just reading. If you can read without stumbling over words then you can be a professional voice actor.

Well its actually quite simple. We have a lot of different voices that we can use. We just search through our voice library and see which one fits best. It’s as easy as 1-2-3!
I know that some of you may think that what we do is fake because we are not acting anything out, but its not like that at all. Voice acting is very difficult work, trust me! You need to be able to find the right voice and then make it sound natural when reciting the line. This can take many hours or even days on end depending on the difficulty of the script or the time constraints on us.

I am a professional voice actor. I have been acting for quite some time now and I have had many opportunities to be the voice of some well known characters in games, commercials and movies.
