Award Winning Canadian Actors: A blog about Canadian actors you do and don’t know about.

How many times have you been watching a TV show or movie and caught yourself thinking, “hey, I recognize that actor!” before realizing they were actually Canadian?

Canadian actors are some of the most talented in the world. From the legendary William Shatner to breakout stars like Michael Cera and Ellen Paige, Canadians have made their mark on Hollywood and beyond. But it can be hard to keep track of who is from Canada and who isn’t.

Award Winning Canadian Actors is here to help you out! It will tell you everything you need to know about your favorite award winning (and not so award winning) Canadian actors. Whether it’s Ryan Gosling or Seth Rogen, Rachel McAdams or Pamela Anderson, this blog is your one stop shop for all things Can-con.

Award Winning Canadian Actors: A blog about Canadian actors you do and don’t know about. From Mike Myers, to Jay Baruchel to Tatiana Maslany, we take a look at the best actors in Canada, past and present.

We are all familiar with many of the top actors in Hollywood today, from Leonardo DiCaprio to Robert Downey Jr. However, there are many great actors from north of the border that you may not be aware of (and perhaps some you are).

From comedic geniuses like Mike Myers and Tom Green to dramatic heavyweights like Ryan Gosling and Sandra Oh, this list takes a look at the top Canadian actors.

So much Canadian talent is often overlooked by the general public. Actors such as Kevin Durand, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Michael Cera are considered American actors when they should be recognized as Canadian actors.

In addition to these actors, Canada is known for many other talented actors and actresses as well. This blog is dedicated to recognizing those hardworking people that deserve more credit than they get.

Some of Canada’s most talented actors include:

Michael J. Fox

Are you tired of watching the same old actors in Hollywood? Why not support your local talent and check out some Canadian actors instead. Canadians are known for being very nice, so I am sure that these actors would be happy to take a picture with you or even give you an autograph (if you can find them).

Here is a list of some award-winning Canadian actors that you should know about:

1. Christopher Plummer – This actor has been around for a long time and he was born in Toronto, Ontario. You might know him from The Sound Of Music or Knives Out (he plays the granddad). He won awards for both of these roles.

Canada has a lot of great actors, but they are often hidden in small roles on US shows. While it may surprise you to know that many popular actors are Canadian, there are also some huge names you may not know are from Canada.

The purpose of this blog is to shine a light on all Canadian actors. From the biggest and most famous names to the smallest, most obscure actors and actresses working today. I hope to show that Canadians can be just as good if not better than their American counterparts.
