5 Actors you’ve never heard of, but will blow you away: A blog about top young actors who are the next stars to break out.

Recently I had a chance to sit down with Chris Schulz and talk about my new movie, “The 5th Wave.” Chris is a great journalist and we had a fantastic interview. But then he went and wrote this article, which left me completely shocked.

I was the first person in history to be nominated for an Academy Award and not win. I was the first person in history to be nominated for an Best Actor Oscar and not win. And I was the first person in history to be nominated for an Razzie Award for Best Actor and not win.

I felt like my life was over. I lost all my friends. My family didn’t speak to me anymore. Nobody would return my calls or emails. It was a nightmare.

So what did I do? I took acting classes at the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute in New York City and got into acting just like everybody else does it: by studying with other actors who have been where I am now.

Then came “Guardians,” which opened on May 7 in theaters nationwide. That film has grossed nearly $750 million worldwide

When it comes to actors, there is a stigma that once you hit your mid 30s, you are no longer considered a top young actor. This blog will dispel the notion that youth equals talent. There is an abundance of young male actors who are just now beginning to break out in Hollywood and are talented well beyond their years.

We bring you the 5 actors that are the next breakout stars. While you may not be familiar with their names now, these young actors will be leading men in Hollywood for years to come.

1. Jake Johnson – Jake Johnson is one of those actors who has been around for a while, but is only now getting his time in the spotlight. After being featured in a number of TV shows dating back to 2002, Johnson finally got his big break with his role as Nick Miller on New Girl. His deadpan delivery and dry sense of humor make him one of the funniest supporting actors in television today.

2. Miles Teller – Miles Teller is another actor who has had roles here and there throughout his career, but was never able to get a breakout role until now. After starring opposite Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart in Rabbit Hole, Teller was able to showcase his acting talents to audiences everywhere. He has since gone

Over the last few years I have noticed that there has been a lack of young male actors in Hollywood.

So I wanted to start this blog to help people find new talent, and also make predictions on who will be the next big thing.

Actors: Jake Gyllenhaal, Topher Grace, Nick Cannon, Ashton Kutcher and James Franco

1. Jason Bateman

2. Tom Hardy

3. Ian Somerhalder

4. Ryan Gosling

5. Joseph Gordon-Levitt

I’ve always been a fan of Robin Lord Taylor’s work. The actor, who you might recognize from TWD or Gotham but I remember from his brilliant turn as a guy who writes fake Yelp reviews for cash in the movie Accepted, has a talent for bringing the pain, and he does it again in the new thriller Would You Rather.

The film stars Brittany Snow as Iris, a young woman losing her brother to leukemia and trying to find the money to save him. She’s down on her luck with no prospects and no hope, until she gets an offer to compete in a game that could earn her what she needs. Of course, there are strings attached—the game is called Would You Rather and each round brings with it more pain and suffering than the last. And while Jeffrey Combs steals every scene he’s in as the psychopathic host, it’s Taylor who makes you feel like you’re right there with the other players.

In one particularly painful scene we see Taylor’s character lose something precious to him when faced with an unthinkable choice. It’s a moment that reminds me of some of the best work of Daniel Day-Lewis or Leonardo DiCaprio—and I’m not throwing those names around lightly. If you want to know what this guy is

In the movie “Hustle & Flow”, Anthony Anderson played DJay’s friend Key. It is said that when he auditioned for the role, he had prepared a different character, but the producers loved him so much they created the part just for him. It seems they were right. He did a terrific job of being his character.

Anderson has been in many movies and television shows since the 1990’s. You may have seen him in “Me Myself and Irene”, “Barbershop” or “Scary Movie 3”. On television, he has been on “The Shield” and “Law & Order”. In 2004, he won an Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in “Hustle & Flow”.
