You never thought that you would see the day that Macaulay Caulkin and Kiersten Dunst would not only be adults, but would be acting in a film together. And yet, here we are! The two 90s child actors teamed up in the new film “Crisis in Six Scenes”, produced by Amazon Studios.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Caulkin told the story of how he met Woody Allen, who wrote and directed the film.
“I just had this breakfast with Woody Allen,” he said. “He’s so cool.”
The story goes that Allen approached Keebler to sponsor his movie. Keebler decided not to, and Allen approached Caulkin instead: “I said, ‘Sure.’ I don’t know why I said ‘Sure.’ I’m sure it was just a formality.”
“They came back to me and asked if I wanted to be in it, and I was like,” Sure!”
The stars had this to say about working with each other:
“‘Kirsten is so sweet and so funny,” says Caulkin. “She’s an absolute delight.”
“We’re friends now,” says Dunst. “I love him!”
