When your house is messy and chaotic, it can make you feel anxious, stressed out, and depressed. It is hard to relax when there are piles of papers everywhere and dirty dishes in the sink. Unfortunately, you may be too busy to clean up on a regular basis, which can make clutter even worse.

I’ve recently started writing more in my spare time. I’m currently enjoying writing a blog about clutter and the problems that it can cause for people. While reading through it, I noticed that one of my posts was getting way too wordy. It wasn’t that what I had written was wrong; rather, there was just so much information in it that I felt like no one would want to read through all of it.
So what did I do? Well, I decided to take advantage of a few tools that are available online (for free!) to help me get rid of any clutter from my blog post. In order to prevent this type of clutter, you must organize your belongings by placing them in properly labeled containers. You should also strive to keep each room in your home free from extra objects and to only keep things out that you use regularly.
Visual Clutter:
Visual clutter is one of the most common types of clutter that people experience on a daily basis. Visual clutter is anything in your environment that causes unnecessary stress or distraction to the eye. It can include bright colors, loud patterns, flashing lights, signs or neon colors. In order to avoid visual clutter, you should try to keep your surroundings simple and clean with a limited amount of colors or patterns that are pleasing to look at.
Mental Clutter:

Clutter has a profound impact on our mood and emotions. If a room is full of clutter, it can make the room feel smaller and overwhelmed. A messy space can also make us feel like we have so much to do, which can be overwhelming.
Clutter can also make us feel ashamed, guilty and embarrassed, especially if we have people coming into our homes. Clutter may even become a way of life if we are not careful!
While clutter will not cause serious health issues, it can create stress, which is not good for your health. Studies have shown that women who work in cluttered environments tend to have higher levels of cortisol (a stress hormone) than those who work in clean environments.
Having too much clutter in your home can also affect your sleep patterns.
It’s important to get rid of clutter as soon as possible if you want to reduce the stress in your life!
Humans have a limited capacity for processing visual information. We can quickly take in details of a scene, but we can only focus on specific areas of attention at one time.
When the surrounding area is cluttered and busy, it makes it more difficult to find what you’re looking for. You may not be able to see the thing you need, or maybe you see it but it takes longer to find than if the environment were less cluttered. When there is too much clutter, it can make us feel overwhelmed or tired trying to process everything in the surrounding area.
A cluttered space is not only visually overwhelming, but it also limits your ability to focus and think clearly. This makes it more challenging to relax because your mind is still processing an excessive amount of information from your environment.
