The first thing to know about Scarlett Johansson is that she is not Black Widow.

I want to be clear about that, because I think the two get confused with each other a lot.

Black Widow is a fictional character from the Marvel universe who was introduced in the comics in the 1960s and then made her way onto the big screen in 2010. She’s one of the few female superheroes that has been played by multiple actresses — at least five, depending on how you count.

Scarlett Johansson is an actress who plays Black Widow. But there’s more to her than just her role as Natasha Romanoff, and I’m going to write about that here.

I also want us to be clear about something else: Scarlett Johansson is not a villain, but she has been villainized by some people online in ways that are unfair and undeserved.

It’s obvious some of these so-called fans are motivated by sexism and misogyny, and I’ll talk about that too. But I don’t think it’s just the evil haters who are responsible for making ScarJo into a target for internet hate mobs everywhere from Reddit to Twitter and beyond.

A lot of it has to do with how Hollywood works, or doesn’t work, for women.

Black Widow Actors is a new blog about Scarlett Johansson and her role as Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Black Widow is one of Marvel’s most popular characters, and by far the most famous female superhero ever created. Scarlett Johansson has been playing her for almost ten years now, starting with Iron Man 2 and continuing through The Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. She’ll also be starring in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War, and she’ll have a solo movie in 2018. That’s a lot of Black Widow!

What makes Scarlett Johansson different from other actors who have taken on comic book roles? For one thing, she’s a woman. There are very few female superheroes on the big screen, let alone any that get their own movie. But there are even fewer women behind the scenes who are involved in the creative process of making those movies.

There’s no question that this is changing, but it’s still rare to see a woman in an executive position at a major studio or working as a producer or director on one of these films. There are some notable exceptions (like Joss Whedon), but even they aren’t always given full credit for their contributions to their films’ success.”

Scarlett Johansson is a very famous actress. She is known by many nicknames, including ScarJo and Black Widow. Her fans think she is very beautiful, and they call her “the most beautiful woman in the world.”

Scarlett has appeared in many movies, including The Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. She also appeared in several TV shows, such as Friends and Sex and the City. Scarlett has been nominated for several awards, including an Oscar and a Golden Globe.

Black Widow was originally created by Marvel Comics for their Avengers series. Scarlett Johansson plays the character Black Widow in the movie The Avengers: Age of Ultron, which will be released this summer.

Black Widow is a superheroine who uses her powers to fight evil. She was first introduced in Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes

Scarlett Johansson has been acting in movies since she was 8 years old, and she has been a celebrity ever since. The first time I saw her was in the movie Ghost World. She played Becky, a high school student who was a rude, sarcastic know-it-all. In other words, she played the same character she always plays.

Since then Johansson has been in more than 25 movies. For each movie, she is paid millions of dollars for two or three weeks’ work. She is known as Black Widow, because that’s one of her characters from The Avengers movies. Many people don’t even know her real name.

Johansson has been called “the most beautiful woman in the world” by many magazines and websites. But it’s not true! She is an average-looking woman who knows how to dress herself up so that men will pay attention to her. And if you look at her face carefully, there are a few features that make it clear she is not naturally beautiful:

her forehead is too large;

her chin comes to a point;

her nose turns up at the end;

her lips are thin and tight; and

her eyes are set too wide apart.

If you think I’m being mean

So, yes, I’ve been asked by a few people who aren’t avid moviegoers or comic book fans “Who the hell is Black Widow?” Or some variation thereof. And that’s not really a surprise to me.

I mean, most non-movie buffs know Scarlett Johansson as “the girl from Lost in Translation” or if they’re really pop culture aware they’ll say she was in The Prestige and Girl with the Pearl Earring. She’s been in a bunch of stuff though, even been in one of those Woody Allen movies (not all of them are awful). She’s also got a record out and has done voice work for animated films.

She’s been in a bunch of stuff, but nothing that screams action hero. So naturally when it was announced she’d be starring as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow in Iron Man 2 you had folks scratching their heads wondering who that was.

Well, I figured since this blog is going to be about Black Widow, I should start off with a little bit of an introduction for her and how she came about.
