Every culture has its own symbols and icons. The Hollywood actor is one of these icons. The concept of the Hollywood actor has been around since the beginning of the Hollywood movie industry, certainly since the 1930s, when movies began to be made on a large commercial scale with big budgets, big stars and big egos.
