A viking actor is a person who can do an accurate portrayal of a viking through acting, either through physical appearance or through behavior. This term originated during the early 19th century, when it was used to describe stage actors and actresses. A more restricted meaning of the term developed in the course of the 20th century, and now connotes an actor who has internalized the traits and behaviors of a character to such an extent that they seem spontaneously to recall them when performing.
Vikings have not been common in the history of motion pictures or television because of their distinctive features, but since the 1980s, this has begun to change. Actor-producers such as Chuck Norris have sometimes been listed among the greatest viking actors. Some media outlets use the term interchangeably with “viking actress.”

We are a group of Danish and international actors, directors and photographers living in Denmark. We run an acting school called Nordic Actors Lab, where we teach the Meisner technique. The portfolio site is a showcase for our students and a place to create a network.
Our site is running on the Headway Theme, which is a drag-and-drop WordPress theme.
In the first month after launch, we had over 6,000 visitors on our site. Our goal was to get 2,500-3,000 visitors per month from Google searches (mostly from people looking for headshots).
We tried to achieve this by focusing on relevant keywords that we knew would give us an advantage over our competitors. We used the following keywords:
Danish actors
Scandinavian actors
Nordic actors
International actors (in Denmark)

Ragnar Lothbrok, the Viking Hero!
Ragnar Lothbrok was a legendary warrior from the Viking age. He was a mighty warrior and king who inspired many tales and sagas. His legend is still told to this day.
The Lothbroks were a farming and fishing family who lived in southern Norway, near modern-day Oslo. They were descendants of Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye, a legendary Norse hero from the Dark Ages. Ragnarβs father was named Harald Finehair, and his mother was named Aslaug Sigurdsdotter. Harald had a brother named Halfdan the Black, who ruled over Vestfold (a region in southern Norway). When Ragnar grew up, he became friends with King Aella of Northumbria (England). Ragnar married one of Aellaβs daughters, whose name has been lost to history but is sometimes referred to as βThora Town-Hartβ in modern folklore.*
