I have so much more to share with you all. I never thought that this blog would give me so many opportunities and experiences in my life. I love hearing from each one of you and learning about your dreams, goals and aspirations. I remember when I first started this blog, I was thinking of how many people might see it or read it. But now, I am grateful for each and every person who reads my thoughts or emails me for advice.

Each one of you inspires me to keep doing what I am doing. You are the reason why I am able to continue touring on Broadway and traveling the world with some of the best actors in the business.

As of right now, the Traveling Actor is currently in San Francisco and will be there indefinitely. The job I am working at here is really fun and I get to meet so many people everyday. I am also taking an acting class while here and it’s amazing. It’s been a while since I had taken a class like this and it’s helping me so much. After taking another look at my headshots, I decided to get new ones done. The old ones didn’t really fit me or my personality anymore, so hopefully these new ones will portray who I am as an actor more. I can’t wait for them to be finished!

While at home (in between jobs), I’ve been spending time with family and friends before getting back on the road again! I’m going to be heading back to LA next week for a few days to hopefully audition for some parts, and then I’m off to New York City! This will be my first trip to NYC and I can’t wait! After that, who knows where the traveling actor will end up!

The term “acting career” is often used to refer to the jobs that make up most of the working life of a professional actor. In this sense, “acting career” denotes the succession of jobs that make up an actor’s work, and includes all genres of performance: theater, television, film, radio, commercials, industrial films, videos and others.

Actors may also have to spend time auditioning for roles in productions. It is not unusual for an actor to spend years performing bit parts and other roles before finally achieving stardom in a major production. Therefore, actors are said to have “a lot of patience”.

In addition to performing in film or on stage, some actors find work as voice-over artists in commercials and animated films. Voice over actors provide the voices for animated characters or recorded announcements. They are usually not seen on screen.

When an actor has established a reputation for being good at what he does, he will be offered more (and bigger) roles than when he was just starting out. This normally results in more money but also more pressure on him to perform well. A movie with a famous actor attached to it is expected to be much better than one with an unknown actor in it.

Having established that the possibilities of a good acting career can be found in numerous ways, it is important to define what exactly makes a career good. A good acting career is not necessarily the one that brings in the most money or the most fame, although these are certainly things that are often associated with a good career. A good acting career is one which lets an actor work on projects and roles they feel passionate about.

A successful acting career is usually defined as one where an actor’s craft is growing, improving and maturing with each role they take. An actor should always be striving to improve their skills, whether it’s through taking courses at top acting academies, or gaining experience on set or stage.

Many actors start their careers without having made the choice to do so, but once they become more established, they need to make a conscious decision about how to move forward. An actor may choose to take a role for the money, for example if it will allow them to fund another project which means more to them than this one does. Or perhaps an actor takes a certain role because it may give them better exposure and lead to more interesting parts in future. There isn’t necessarily any right or wrong answer when it comes to choosing projects – actors just need to consider how

In the process of building your acting career there are many things to take into consideration. One of the most important is how you will be presenting yourself to casting agents, talent scouts and directors.

One way that has been a huge help to me in my career has been having head shots taken. Head shots are photos of you, as an actor, that show a little bit of personality but mostly just show “you”.

I remember when I first started out in the business, it was hard to get a photographer who understood what type of photo I needed. The first few photographers I went to all wanted to do a glamour type shot and that was not what I wanted or needed. After attending several auditions with these “glamour shots” I realized that I was not getting calls back because these photos did not look like me. The directors could not see me as the character in their film because it looked like I had makeup and lighting done for the photo. So I finally found a photographer who understood what type of photo I needed and we did a shoot. Within one week of using this new head shot, I booked three jobs! It was amazing!

As time went by and my career grew, I have come to realize that keeping your head shots updated is

I’ve spent the day researching and calling various agents to find one that will represent me as an actor. I had a few phone calls with some very nice people who gave me some good advice, and a few less than friendly phone calls with people who made me feel like an idiot for calling them in the first place. This is how I discovered that there are several kinds of agents, including (but not limited to):

Commercial Agents – These are the people you call when you want to be in a commercial or industrial film. The commercials tend to pay really well, but the work is hard to get and tends not to be very challenging creatively.

Theatrical Agents – These are the people you call when you want a theater job. They can help you get theater jobs, but most don’t know much about film or TV, so if you want to get into those media, you’ll need another agent.

On-Camera Talent Agents – These are the agents who have experience booking actors for film and television roles. It’s what I’m after right now so I can build my resume and get more experience working on camera.

If you’re starting out as an actor, it’s best if you can find one agent who handles both commercial AND on-camera work

A good actor can be the life and soul of a production, and their talent can transport you to another world. However, a bad actor can ruin a whole production. They are hard to find, and they don’t come cheap. The best actors will always be in demand, so how do you attract them to your production?

Good acting is believable acting. A good actor will put themselves in the shoes of the character they are playing and try to act exactly as that person would act in that situation. The audience must be able to suspend their disbelief and believe that the actor really is that person. If they aren’t convinced, then the acting has failed.

One way to make sure that your actors are convincing is to have them hear from real people who have gone through what the character has gone through. Hearing about these experiences first-hand gives the actors an insight into what it was like for this person, which will give them more depth of character when acting out the role.
