So with this blog I hope to provide you with some tips and tricks to not get caught while shoplifting.
This blog is going to be periodically updated with new posts on how to do it, so keep an eye out for that.
If you want you can also leave a comment on what you think about the blog, or if there’s any topic that you’d like me to cover in the future.
Don’t forget, you’re in a store, it’s full of cameras. Here are some tips on how to not get caught.
1. Don’t do it in a big store, they will have way better security…
2. If you get caught, just run out of the store and keep running
3. Don’t pick up the most expensive things to steal, choose something cheap that you can get away with
4. If your caught, don’t try to fight the workers, just let them call the police and then run away as soon as they start talking to them
5. Don’t go back to the same store again
6. Make sure no one sees you do it, if they do then run away as fast as possible
So you’re thinking about shoplifting? Let me tell you a story.
I was caught shoplifting at the age of 15. I went through the embarrassing ordeal, paying fines, and community service. I still occasionally get called in by loss prevention — not because they think I’m stealing again, but because it’s their job to check up on people who have been caught stealing, and make sure that the bad apples haven’t returned to the tree.
I’m writing this blog in hopes of preventing you from making the same mistake I did when I was young. You may be tempted to steal small items from time to time, or even large items if you’re desperate; this blog will help guide you through those tough times.
Here are my top tips for not getting caught:
1. Don’t rush! Make sure you got everything in your basket. Don’t be too obvious and make sure you are taking your time.
2. Watch the cashiers, see if they are paying attention or talking to anyone. If they are and there is a long line, try to wait until it is gone.
3. Check the cameras and see if they are on you or if they can check you out.
4. Look around and see if there are any security guards around, then act like you have a reason to be there, like looking at something else in that area etc.
5. Once at the exit see what kind of doors they have and see how far away the alarm is from the door, so you know when to stop bringing stuff over the alarm line, then wait for someone to open up the door for you so it can trigger it open, then quickly put all your stuff down just before the alarm goes off and walk out with nothing on you but act like nothing happened while walking out the door like nothing happened, while putting all your stuff in a bag.
The first thing you need to know is not to be caught by the store’s security. This is easier than you think.
The second thing you need to know is the best way to shoplift.
The third and final thing you need to know is what to do if you get caught shoplifting.
If you are going to shoplift, do not attempt it in a store whose primary customer base is hardcore criminals. You will get caught.
For example, do not shoplift from a hardware store that caters to home burglars. Hardware stores are fun places to shoplift from anyway because of all the shiny objects and things with multiple uses, but if you are going to lift from a hardware store, make sure it isn’t one where the owner keeps a baseball bat behind the counter.
Do not shoplift from Best Buy, even though they don’t mind people trying on the headphones. They have policies about this sort of thing and will ban you for life if you try to steal anything. The electronics giant also has “asset protection specialists” and security cameras everywhere.
It is better to shoplift from Target since they usually don’t call the police unless it’s something really expensive like an XBox 360 or an iPod Touch. However, they can still ban you for life if they catch you stealing something and ask you never to return.
If you must steal something at Target, pick something small that is easy to conceal like cosmetics or batteries or DVD’s. Most of these items can easily be concealed in clothing or bags without anyone noticing so long as your
If you are shoplifting and get caught, never run away. Always say that you will pay for the item, but try to look confused. If you are a minor, you may get away with a warning or a small fine. On the other hand, if you run away, they will call the police and they will be there within minutes to catch you. You can then be arrested and have a criminal record which will follow you for life.
