Don Draper (Jon Hamm) is a high-flying ad man in this Emmy-winning series, set in 1960s New York.
In the first season, Don crosses ethical lines and hides his true background. Meanwhile, the office welcomes a new copywriter, Peggy Olson (Elisabeth Moss), and grapples with an account for cigarettes.
In the second season, Don’s life grows more complicated as he faces unexpected personal challenges and professional dilemmas. After being promoted to creative director at Sterling Cooper, Don marries his 20-year-old secretary in Season 3.
In Season 4, Don takes on a new partner and adjusts to life as a father of three. By Season 5, he is trying to get his life together while working at SCDP and living with Megan. Later seasons feature more changes at Sterling Cooper & Partners as the firm rolls with the times.
