Star Wars fans are a dedicated bunch. Having watched the films over and over again, they know every line, every detail and every nook and cranny of the Star Wars universe. However, even for the most devoted of fans there are some actors who have appeared in the films who you may not be aware of. With that said, here are ten actors you didn’t know were in Star Wars.
10. David Prowse
The first person on our list is British actor David Prowse. When you think of Darth Vader, his name is probably one of the last ones which would come to mind however he was actually the man behind the suit for all three original films; A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. His role was taken over by Sebastian Shaw in Return of the Jedi when it came time to show Vader’s unmasked face as well as Hayden Christensen in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith when we see Anakin Skywalker transform into Darth Vader.

He’s played other characters too, such as Wald and Weazel (two of Jabba’s henchmen) in The Phantom Menace, a Snivvian bounty hunter named Grubba the Hutt in Attack of the Clones and as Wollivan in The Force Awakens. British actor Simon Pegg is perhaps best known for his roles in Spaced, Shaun of the Dead and Paul, though he’s also appeared in plenty of other films and TV shows.
