Trevor Philips: The Softer Side — Taking A Break From My Marriage To Pursue My Acting Dreams
The Softer Side Of Trevor Philips – Taking A Break From My Marriage To Pursue My Acting Dreams: a blog around Trevor Philips and himself.
I am a half-Irish, half-American, part-time actor and full-time dad. I was born in the early 80s and raised in south Dublin but now live in New York with my wife and two daughters. I have an older brother called James who is also my best friend. I have a passion for film, music and fashion.
This blog is an opportunity for me to share some of the things that inspire me on a daily basis as well as my thoughts about life in general. I hope that you enjoy reading it!
I have been with my wife for a long time, and I love her very much. But lately things have not been going so well. She has her issues, and I have mine.
And there is one thing that has been weighing on me more than ever: my acting dreams.
I’ve always wanted to be an actor. Maybe it’s dumb, but I just can’t help it. It’s like a flame inside me. But I never had the chance to pursue this dream because of my marriage. So I left my wife, which was not an easy thing to do, especially after all the years we’ve spent together, but I think it was the right decision in the end.
I moved to Los Santos and now I’m trying to make it as an actor there. So far it hasn’t been easy. But I don’t mind because I know that everything is going to be okay in the end, and that if it’s not okay then it’s not yet the end!
Hello, my name is Trevor Philips.
You probably know me from GTA V. I’m the one with the spaceship in my backyard, and the tattoos on my face, and the really awesome cars. You might not know this about me, but I’ve always had a dream of becoming an actor.
That’s why today I’m leaving Michael to pursue that dream. I’m going to be in a movie very soon, probably starring as some sort of anti-hero who’s just trying to do right by everyone but can’t because of all his problems and stuff. It will be a very deep movie with lots of emotion that people will either love or hate, depending on their take on life and if they’re willing to skip a few things to get to the end game. This is going to be a big deal for me, so I hope you’ll follow along!
I have some questions for you:
What kind of character would you like me to play? Is there anything else you’d like me too? What do you think about my decision? Do you think it will work out for me?
I am Trevor Philips. I have a wife, two kids and a dog, but this is not my story. This is the story of my pursuit to rediscover myself through acting. Allow me to explain.
I was raised in Liberty City, California. From an early age I was told that I was destined for greatness. My mother and father were proud of me and all that I had accomplished, but there was always something missing.
I felt empty inside. Even though I had everything, I still did not feel fulfilled.
As a child I dreamed of being an actor on Broadway or in front of a camera and now here I am… living my dream!
Please subscribe to my blog as well to get updates on my journey through acting class!
How did Trevor Philips, the notorious South African gangster, spend his summer? Like any good Canadian boy, he was pursuing his acting dream.
Last week, I had the chance to sit down with Trevor in his luxury apartment on the 48th floor of a downtown Toronto condo called The Trump Tower. (Yes, you read that correctly: Trump Tower.) After our interview I asked him to pose for a photo. He refused. “Trevor doesn’t like cameras,” he said. “I’ll take one with you.” Trevor then proceeded to take selfies of himself and me for three minutes straight.
Over the course of our conversation, I learned that Trevor is an avid Star Trek fan who’s seen every episode at least twice. He can recite entire episodes verbatim and has memorized most of the original series’ dialogue. He also loves old-school hip-hop (he’s a big fan of Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg) and is an aficionado of modern art (his favourite artist is Takashi Murakami). When I asked him about his travels around the world, he told me about his time in Japan where he visited Tokyo and Kyoto. But there was one place that stood out above all others: Mt. Fuji. ”
A lot of y’all know me as that hard-talking gang leader from Los Santos. I’ve broken a few hearts and maybe a leg or two in my time, but the truth is, I got this soft side too. A lot of people have been asking about my acting career, so I thought I’d start a blog about it.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I love my wife. She’s always been supportive of me and my dreams, even when they take me far away from home and family. But lately we’ve been having some issues, and like any couple we’re taking a break to work on some things.
I know some people think this is just a way of getting out of doing the housework – but that couldn’t be further from the truth! This place is spotless these days. It’s like living in the White House. And I’m not just talking about the President’s house either – Michelle Obama would be proud to call this place home.
Anyway, one thing I have learned during this break is that time is precious, so here’s what you can expect from this blog: personal insights into my acting career and lifestyle choices; occasional guest posts from friends who are still on speaking terms with me; and lots
I have gotten a divorce for my wife, and I am pursuing my dream to be an actor. I have done all the work and I am ready, but I need help! The problem is that I do not have the money to pay for a manager, someone to help me get noticed.
I can provide a lot of positive references and credentials, but the only thing I cannot offer is the initial funds to get started. There is a fee of $2,500 to sign up with a talent agent and management team. If you want to help me pursue my dreams and want to see what I can offer as an actor, please make any sized donation.
All of your donations will go directly towards my career advancement. Thank you all very much!
