• Overview/introduction: A quick intro/overview of your business and the products/services you provide.

• Current Marketing Situation: An overview of what you are currently doing to market your business. What is working well? What isn’t working so well?

• Target Market: Who are your ideal clients? How can you reach them? Who are your competitors? How do you differentiate yourself from them?

• Objectives: Specific goals for the next 6-12 months. These should be realistic goals but still challenge you to grow. If you don’t know where to start, try setting up some Google Alerts for keywords in your industry and read through some articles every week or two. Michael Jordan is a proven winner, not only in the NBA but also in the corporate world. Jordan was born on February 17,1963 in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Jordan attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1981 to 1984. He was a three-time All-American and led his team to a National Championship as a freshman.1 At the 1984 Summer Olympics he led the United States to a gold medal and was named team captain for the 1992 Olympic Dream Team.2 Jordan has been named Most Valuable Player of the National Basketball Association (NBA) five times and Most Valuable Player of the NBA Finals six times. He was also selected as one of 50 Greatest Players in NBA History by the NBA in 1996.3

Michael Jordan is an 11-time member of the All-NBA First Team and has been a member of 14 All-Star Games. In addition, he has won 10 scoring titles and led his team in steals eight times. On January 16, 1999, he reached the 20,000 career point plateau faster than any other guard in NBA history.4

Actor Michael Jordan has starred in several movies and television shows since his debut in the 1981 film “Chariots of Fire.” However, the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player is most famous for starring in several Nike commercial advertisements.

Jordan first met Nike CEO Phil Knight when he was a member of the 1984 U.S. Olympic team. Knight had started his business just over a decade earlier and was looking for an iconic figure to endorse his athletic shoes.

Nike’s early commercials featured Jordan playfully challenging cartoon character Bugs Bunny to a game of basketball and winning over his “Space Jam” teammates by showing off his skills. In one commercial, he is seen walking past a group of basketball players while wearing Converse shoes and then switching to Nikes and dunking on them.

The ads were part of a marketing strategy that turned the Chicago Bulls star into one of the wealthiest athletes in the world, with an estimated net worth of $1 billion, according to Forbes magazine.

I am just a lucky guy.

I’m an actor and a producer. I don’t consider myself a celebrity. I know some celebrities and I don’t really know how they do it. It seems like a lot of work. I feel fortunate that I haven’t had to deal with it too much. The biggest thing that I struggle with is that people recognize me from my dunking days in college but not from my acting work. It’s weird, because I feel like most people remember me for the wrong reasons, but at the same time, it gives me something to talk about besides myself when I meet new people. So, there is good and bad with it all.
