The Many Faces of Emma Watson: A blog that highlights casting options for Granger in upcoming movies.
While I was watching the first Harry Potter movie, I was thinking to myself: “I wonder who they are going to pick to play Hermione Granger in the upcoming movies.” Well, I am happy to say that she is perfect. Emma Watson is exactly what I imagined Hermione Granger to be.
As for the other roles, I can only think of a few actors and actresses that fit, but there are many more out there who could fit them just as well.
Harry Potter – He is supposed to be a brown-haired, green-eyed boy. If you ask me, Daniel Radcliffe is perfect. His eyes are a little too big though, which could be changed with contacts. His hair is also not quite right, but it can be fixed with some fake hair or by dying it brown.
Ron Weasley – He has red hair and freckles and buckteeth. Rupert Grint looks like him but he doesn’t quite have the right build. He needs to be short and skinny.
Hermione Granger – She has bushy brown hair and brown eyes. Emma Watson looks just like her except for her teeth. They are straightened in the movie
Emma Watson is playing Hermione Granger in the upcoming movies. The question is: which Emma Watson?
Emma Watson is a beautiful, talented young actress who has been blessed with a wonderful gift to be able to play different roles and make them her own. It would be helpful for each movie to cast a different version of Emma Watson, because it would allow the character of Hermione Granger to grow with our young actress.
It’s not a hard thing to visualize, the many faces of Emma Watson. With her natural beauty and wonderful gifts as on actress, she could have made Hermione Granger come to life in a dozen different ways. Imagine if she was given the chance to do just that!
I hope that in future casting decisions, they will choose different versions of Emma Watson.
Part of the joy of reading is being able to imagine the characters and their personalities. They often become real to us, as if they are people we know. In fact, after finishing the first Harry Potter book, I asked my husband if he had met anyone who reminded him of Hermione (who was his favorite character).
With the news that Emma Watson has been cast as Hermione Granger in upcoming Harry Potter movies, there has been quite a bit of discussion about whether she was the right choice. Some fans have embraced her; others are less convinced. As a person who likes to keep an open mind about casting choices, I’d like to take a moment to look at Ms. Watson’s range of roles and consider whether she is capable of meeting fan expectations for Hermione Granger.
Emma Watson: the biggest name in British acting. The girl that everyone is talking about, and every casting director wants. It has been announced that she will be Hermione Granger in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone movie. However, what about the future of the Harry Potter movies?
Will Emma Watson be able to grow into her role as Hermione Granger? If a sequel is made within a year, will she still be believable as a witchy schoolgirl? Will her career advance more than her age will? Will she still have time to act in other movies and plays?
Will Emma Watson move on after the first movie? Will she continue to play Hermione Granger in any sequels which may or may not be produced by Warner Bros.? Or will she choose to pursue other roles and leave the Potter series to another actress?
What do you think?

The Harry Potter movies are on the way and we’re all anxious to see the new faces of our favorite trio: Harry, Ron, and Hermione. After seeing Emma Watson’s credits at IMDB, I was very impressed with what an accomplished actress she is for being so young. She is also a very attractive young lady that will be perfect for the role of Hermione Granger.
I would like to mention that I have seen some criticism of the casting choice online, but I think that Emma Watson is perfect for the role. While I do agree that Watson looks somewhat younger than how she is described in the book series (the actress who played Ginny Weasley in the first two movies looked remarkably like her), she does have a very intelligent look about her. And if you haven’t yet seen any of Emma’s work, I would like to point out that she has appeared in several British TV shows and a movie called “Ballet Shoes” which will be airing on NBC on December 23rd at 8PM ET/PT as part of their Family Movie Night series. “Ballet Shoes” was
Emma Watson was cast as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series at the age of nine. Her acting talent has been praised by movie critics and audiences alike. In addition to her acting talent she is also known for her beauty, brains, and willingness to take on new challenges. She is a role model for young girls everywhere.
Emma Watson’s character, Hermione Granger, has been described by Rowling as a “very logical, upright and good” character. She also exhibits a talent for logic and problem solving as well as being highly intelligent. These traits make her an ideal candidate to play the character of Hermione Granger in upcoming films such as Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them (2016) or The Cursed Child (2017).
As with all actors there are always negatives associated with them too. One such negative is that Emma Watson may not be able to handle the pressure of being in such a big franchise like Harry Potter which could lead to her quitting midway through filming one of these movies subjecting fans with disappointment if it does happen. Another potential problem could arise from putting too much weight on Emma Watson’s shoulders when it comes to playing this iconic character since she isn’t necessarily known for having great acting skills yet (although she does have some experience already).
Emma Watson is an actress, model, and activist. She was born in Paris, but raised in England. She attended school at Oxford University and Brown University. Her career began at age ten as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, where she starred alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. The Harry Potter films spanned a decade, and the series garnered $7.7 billion dollars at the box office.
Emma Watson has had roles in numerous independent films since the end of the Harry Potter franchise, including: The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), The Bling Ring (2013), This Is the End (2013), Noah (2014), Regression (2015), Colonia (2015), and The Circle (2017). She also starred in Disney’s live action Beauty and the Beast (2017) as Belle. Despite her success as an actress, Watson has struggled with her identity outside of Hermione Granger. She is currently taking a break from acting to focus on feminism and gender equality through her HeForShe Campaign.
