Actor – born Robert Mario De Niro Jr. on August 17, 1943 in New York City, New York. He was named after his father Robert De Niro Sr., a well-known artist and painter. .
He is one of the greatest actors of all time. His best work includes roles in The Godfather Part II (1974), Taxi Driver (1976), Raging Bull (1980) and Goodfellas (1990).
After his parents divorced, he lived with his mother most of the time, but spent much of his childhood alone in hotels while she worked as an abstract expressionist painter. He attended school at P.S. 41 and Elisabeth Irwin High School (later known as Little Red School House). Marlon Brando(1924-2004) is considered the greatest movie actor of all time, rivaled only by the more theatrically oriented Laurence Olivier in terms of esteem. 1.Humphrey Bogart: Bogart made his first appearance on the New York stage in “Driftwood” in 1921, and he started in movies as an extra for Fox, Warner Brothers and MGM. He married actress May Foster in 1926, who gave him his only son, Stephen Humphrey Bogart (born Jan 6, 1939). His first big break came when he appeared on Broadway in The Petrified Forest (1935) along with Leslie Howard who cast him in the film version of The Petrified Forest (1936). He was at last on his way to stardom.
2.Marilyn Monroe: Norma Jeane Mortenson (aka Marilyn Monroe) was born on June 1, 1926. She was raised by her mentally unstable mother Gladys Pearl Baker and was later taken into foster care for a short time before being sent to live with her mother’s best friend Grace McKee Goddard and her husband Doc Goddard. In 1937 she attended Emerson Junior High School and wasn’t liked by most of the girls due to her shyness. She then went to Van Nuys High School where she met James Dougherty whom she later wed at the age of 16 to avoid foster care again.
