The 10 Greatest Actors of All Time: A blog about the best actors of all time.
What is an actor? The answer to this question is more difficult than one might think. The word actor has been in use since at least the 16th century, but it has meant different things at different times. For example, actors were once exclusively male (as can be seen in the name of the original guild). Today, we call both men and women actors. This change in terminology reflects a broader change in how we understand acting, which is now considered a skill anyone can learn and master through training and rehearsal.
Another important change that took place over the course of history was a shift from live performances to recorded ones. In ancient times, plays were performed by amateurs who did not need much rehearsal because they knew their roles by heart. Nowadays, rehearsals are an essential part of every performance.
But what exactly does it mean to be an actor? Although many people think that acting is all about pretending and lying, this is not true. An actor’s job is to convince the audience that he or she really is the character they are playing on stage or onscreen (or sometimes both). In order to do this successfully, they have to have a deep

This is a blog post to give you my opinion on the 10 greatest actors of all time. I have been an actor for over 30 years and I have learned a lot about acting during this time. The most important thing to learn as an actor is that acting is a craft and not just something you can learn overnight. It takes many years of hard work, dedication and discipline to become great at acting.
I started this blog because I wanted to share my knowledge with other actors and help them improve their acting skills. I hope that this information will inspire you to become better at what you do!
There are many ways to learn about acting but one of the best ways is by watching good actors perform live. If you are able to watch someone else act live then it will be easier for you to understand how they do things so well which makes it easier for yourself when trying new things out on stage or in front of the camera. Also watching other people perform allows us to pick up tips from those around us which helps us improve our own performances too.
So who are some of these great actors that we should all look up too? Well there’s no right answer here but there are plenty who deserve recognition like Jack Nicholson, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino or
The 10 Greatest Actors of All Time
I know, I know. This is a list that’s sure to cause some controversy. I’m not saying these are the best actors ever, just my favorites. If you don’t agree with any of these choices, or have your own favorites, post them in the comments below!
The Greatest Actors of All Time
It is a truth universally acknowledged that any actor who has been in the business long enough will win an Oscar. With that in mind, we have assembled a list of the ten greatest actors of all time, based on their Oscar wins.
10. Marlon Brando
Marlon Brando won two Oscars for Best Actor, for On The Waterfront (1954) and The Godfather (1972). He was also nominated for A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), Viva Zapata! (1952), and Sayonara (1957).
9. Katharine Hepburn
Katharine Hepburn won four Oscars. She took home three Best Actress awards, for Morning Glory (1933), Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner? (1967), and The Lion in Winter (1968). She also received a fourth Oscar in 1974 for her overall body of work.
Coming up with a list of the top 10 greatest actors of all time is a very difficult task. There are so many brilliant, and talented actors who have lit up our screens over the years, that to try and compile such a list is almost impossible. But that didn’t stop me from trying.
I have put together my own personal list of the greatest actors of all time, in no particular order. These actors are ones who I believe are truly brilliant at what they do. They have inspired me in one way or another, and I hope you enjoy reading about them as much as I enjoyed writing about them.
There are many other actors who could have made this list, but I wanted to pick ten who were in some way special to me, or had an important impact on my life. Some of these actors you may agree with; others you may not. But that’s the great thing about lists like this – they can be extremely subjective.
