My background is in art, specifically character animation and digital art. Starting your career in Hollywood as an artist requires a lot of time, training and money. I have spent years trying to find a way to break into the industry without having to have gone through a four year program.

I hope that by starting this blog, I can bring together all the information out there on how to get started in the industry, and provide my readers with the steps and tools they need to start their own careers.

I do not claim to know everything about breaking into Hollywood, nor do I work in the industry yet. This blog is meant for people who are interested in getting started but don’t know where to go. I will be updating my progress as well as giving you guys helpful tips and tricks along the way!

This blog is a great resource for those who want to break into the film industry. The information on this site is thorough and well researched. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a career in Hollywood as an artist.

It’s a tough industry to break into. Here are some great tips to help get you started on the right foot in Hollywood.

One of the most popular careers in Hollywood is acting. The first step towards becoming a professional actor is taking acting lessons. A good acting class will teach you about different styles of acting as well as what goes into auditioning for a role.

Another common career in hollywood is film production. One of the most important skills in this field is knowing how to use video editing software like Final Cut Pro. Film editors use special tools to manipulate images and sound within a movie so that they appear more realistic or exciting than they actually are in real life.

There are many other jobs available within the entertainment industry such as producers, writers, directors, crew members, etc…

I wanted to start this blog to collect together my thoughts on what it takes to become a working artist in Hollywood. I have worked as an artist, both as a concept artist and matte painter, for the last 5 years in the industry and I want to share what I’ve learned along the way.

I know there is a lot of information out there on how to get hired and what skills you need but I haven’t found much that tells you about the practicalities of working in Hollywood once you do get hired. A lot of people “get into the door” and then are scared by what they find; so let’s talk about that.

This blog will not tell anyone how to draw or paint better. It will not tell you which software is best for matte painting. There are already plenty of books and videos about those topics. What this blog will cover is how to get your first job in Hollywood and then how to make your work look better once you have it.

Hollywood is a magical place full of wonder and opportunity. It is a giant, beautiful city that is filled with people who are looking to make their dreams come true. But that’s not to say that it doesn’t have its downsides. Many of these people will be coming from different areas of the country, and some even from other countries, so along with this comes inflated pricing and a need to be extra cautious in your business dealings.

The first thing you will need to do before coming out here is to save up your money. It’s important that you already have a nice chunk of money saved up before you move out here because you will be in for quite a shock when you see how expensive everything is. With that being said, don’t worry about finding work right away if you don’t have any lined up ahead of time; there are plenty of opportunities out there for those who are willing to put in the time and effort.

Becoming an actor in Hollywood is no easy task. It takes a lot of hard work and self-discipline, and even then there are no guarantees. For people who really love acting and feel like they have the talent for it, the only way to find out if they can make it or not is by giving it a shot. One of the most important things you will need to get started is a good headshot.

A headshot is a photo of yourself used to promote your acting career. It is the most important piece of marketing that you have as an actor, so it is crucial that you get this right. A great headshot will help you get auditions, while a poor one can kill your chances before you even begin. The best headshots are taken by professional photographers who specialize in actors’ photos, but there are some tips everyone can follow to improve their chances of taking a great headshot themselves.

Ever since I was a child, I have been drawing and painting. Art has always been my passion and having the opportunity to make a living as an artist is what I have always wanted. For years, I have had many friends and family members tell me that they really enjoy my artwork and that they would love to see my work on t-shirts, greeting cards or even in movies.

I have heard from so many people that it’s time to take the next step. I am ready to get serious about marketing my artwork and making a living as an artist. In college I majored in illustration, but not much of what I learned back then applies to the digital world we live in today.

Since graduating from college, I have continued to work on developing my skills in illustration and graphic design. My goal is to build a portfolio of artwork that will help me successfully market myself as an artist and find freelance assignments, eventually building up enough clientele where I can quit my day job.

I am currently working full time at a computer software company developing web pages using HTML, CSS & JavaScript codes. The skills that I am learning at work are very helpful in developing and building this website blog.

When it comes to marketing myself and my artwork, there are so
