President Obama Will Now Pardon 800k Young Illegal Immigrants

President Obama has been known to be one of the most lenient presidents when it comes to immigration and non-violent crimes. He has pardoned more people than any other president in history and now he is making another huge move to help illegal immigrants. He recently announced that he will pardon all illegal immigrants that came to the US as a child. This is a major move that will affect almost 800,000 young people.

It has been reported that about half of the 11 million immigrants living illegally in the U.S. are from Mexico, and many of them entered the country without authorization. The rest are from Central America and South America as well as Asia, Europe and Africa. They have come for a variety of reasons. Some are simply looking for work, others have been forced out of their homes by war or poverty and still others have been fleeing persecution because of race, religion or political opinion.

The President has always had compassion towards those who were forced to leave their home countries due to extreme circumstances. His goal is not to deport everyone who comes into this country illegally but rather focus on those who pose a real threat to society such as violent criminals or terrorists. There are millions of children who were brought

President Obama Will Now Pardon 800k Young Illegal Immigrants

President Barack Obama announced a plan today to pardon illegal immigrants under the age of 30 that came to the United States as a child. Most of these young adults have lived in the U.S. since they were under 5 years old, and they have already been living and working in America for the majority of their lives. While this will not make them entirely legal citizens, it will allow them to apply for work permits, which will permit them to stay in the country and work legally.

President Obama’s new plan is similar to the Dream Act bill that was introduced into congress several years ago. The Dream Act bill failed to pass congress because it was attached to another piece of legislation that alienated much of its support.

Under Obama’s new scheme, illegal immigrants must meet these guidelines:

Be under 30 years old Have lived in the United States for at least five years Have no criminal record Have earned a high school degree or served in the military Apply for a two-year work permit, which can be renewed indefinitely

Obama Will Pardon 800,000 Young Illegal Immigrants. U.S. President Barack Obama announced today that he will pardon more than 800,000 young illegal immigrants who came to the United States as children.

The pardons would be granted to those who have lived in the U.S. for at least five years, have no criminal record and were under the age of 16 when they arrived in the country. The immigrants would also have to graduate from a high school or serve in the military and obtain a college degree or work permit.

“This is not amnesty,” Obama said in an interview with Fox News on Friday. “Amnesty is the forgiveness of something. Amnesty is anything that says ‘do it illegally, it will be cheaper and easier.'”

The move comes just days after Obama announced that his administration would stop deporting illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children if they meet certain requirements — such as being enrolled in school or serving in the military. The new policy, which could affect as many as 1 million young people living in the U.S., has been criticized by Republicans as an election-year ploy aimed at boosting his re-election chances among Hispanic voters.

In a shocking move today President Obama has announced that he will pardon 800,000 illegal immigrants that came to the US as children. Obama’s Dream Act is a plan for these young people to gain legal status if they join the military or attend college.

In order to qualify for this new act you must have:

* Come to the Unites States before the age of 16.

* Have continuous residence in the United States for at least five years preceding the date of this memorandum and are present in the United States on the date of this memorandum.

* Be currently in school, have graduated from high school, have obtained a general education development certificate, or are honorably discharged veterans of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States;

* Not have been convicted of a felony offense, a significant misdemeanor offense, multiple misdemeanor offenses, or otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety;

* Not be above the age of 30.

Following the announcement made by President Obama, over 800k young immigrants will now be eligible to apply for legal status. These young men and women that were brought here as children when they were young will now have a chance to become productive members of society. Many of these young people are already in college and can not afford to drop out and leave their lives behind.

This could mean the end of their dreams of becoming a doctor, engineer or architect. President Obama has decided to take action and his administration will not be deporting these students. The Department of Homeland Security will no longer seek out these students and any students currently in the deportation progress will be allowed to stay under the new guidelines.

The White House issued a statement saying that “these are young people who study in our schools, they play in our neighborhoods, they’re friends with our kids, they pledge allegiance to our flag.”

These kids have lived here in America their entire lives with no option of becoming legal citizens. They may or may not know how to speak Spanish or English depending on which language they learned first but they do all speak American. They are Americans and this is the only country that some of them have ever known. It is unfair for them to live their entire life here without the opportunity to become

Late last night, President Obama announced that any young illegal immigrant who came to the US before the age of 16, has been a resident here for at least 5 years, is in school or the military and has a clean criminal record will be granted conditional legal status for 2 years.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) immediately stopped deporting these individuals for 2 years, but they must still apply to be pardoned. The application fee is $465, which many cannot afford, but there are many organizations willing to fund these immigrants.

“This is wonderful news,” said President Barack Obama in an interview with ABC News. “These immigrants are just as American as we are.”

Many democrats and republicans alike are upset about this mass pardon. Democratic Congressman Adriano Espillat of New York says that “It’s only fair that all undocumented people be granted this pardon. These people aren’t criminals! They didn’t choose to come here!”

The Department of Homeland Security announced a new policy Friday that could protect 800,000 young illegal immigrants from deportation and grant them the right to legally work in the United States.

The memo, issued by Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, says effective immediately, certain young people who were brought to the United States illegally as children will be considered for relief from deportation proceedings and granted authorization to work here.

In order to qualify for consideration, applicants must:

Have come to the United States under the age of sixteen;

Have continuously resided in the United States for a least five years preceding the date of this memorandum and are present in the United States on the date of this memorandum;

Currently be in school, have graduated from high school, have obtained a general education development certificate, or are honorably discharged veterans of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States;

Have not been convicted of a felony offense, a significant misdemeanor offense, multiple misdemeanor offenses, or otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety;

Not be above the age of thirty.
