In the Bible we read about Daniel being thrown into a lion’s den for praying to God! Despite the threats, he still prayed. He knew that God was with him and nothing would happen to him. The same is true in Hollywood. There are times when you will be under pressure to compromise your faith, but God’s grace is sufficient for us all!
We are strong together and should support each other. If you ever feel down – reach out! Let’s build each other up and encourage one another!
Hollywood is not a Christian industry. Actors are not Christian. There are people working in the industry that are Christians, but the industry itself is not Christian. If there’s anything we can do to help Christian actors, we will do it – at least that’s what I will do. I have the back of Christian actors.
Christian actors have always been overlooked and under-appreciated because they are not afraid to say they are Christians, especially in Hollywood. That takes a lot of courage and faith. Many times they get turned down for roles, or their careers don’t move as fast as non-Christian actors because of their faith. This is why we need to show our support for these brave individuals who stand firm in their faith despite the pressure from the world around them.
I’ve always admired Christian actors who are willing to talk about their faith publicly and admit they aren’t perfect sinners like everyone else thinks they should be. It takes guts to go against what society says you should believe in order for others not to judge you harshly – but these men and women do it anyway despite knowing full well there will be consequences for their actions!”

Being a Christian in Hollywood is not easy. It’s hard enough as it is to be an actor in Hollywood. But being a Christian actor, it’s doubly hard.
That’s why I created this website: to give examples of how God is working through actors and actresses in Hollywood, to let you know that you have another place to turn if you’re looking for encouragement, and hopefully to show young people growing up today that there are famous people out there who are not ashamed of their faith.

Steve McQueen, Mel Gibson and many other actors have not only found success in Hollywood but are also practicing Christians.
Steve McQueen, a devout Christian, is a great example of an actor who has been very successful in Hollywood without violating his faith.
McQueen starred in the Great Escape, The Sand Pebbles with Richard Attenborough, Bullit and The Thomas Crown Affair. He was even named Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine in 1981.
Mel Gibson is another actor who has found success while being a practicing Christian. In 2004, he directed the film “The Passion of the Christ” which was based on the final 12 hours of Jesus’ life. The movie sold over $611 million at box offices across the globe and is still considered one of the most successful Christian films ever made. Many people did not agree with the amount of violence that was depicted in the movie but it did spark some amazing discussions about Christ’s sacrifice for us.
Steve Carell (The Office), Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond) and Mark Wahlberg (The Fighter) are all Christians who have found success in Hollywood as well.
