I have always been interested in celebrity gossip, the fashion and looks of stars, and how they age.

But I never looked at it from the perspective of age itself.

I’ve always wondered why some celebrities look like they haven’t aged a day from their first appearance on screen and others look like they have aged 20 years every year.

This blog is for anyone who has ever wondered about celebrity aging patterns, or for people who just like stalking their favourite star 🙂

I’ve been thinking a lot about movie stars lately. It all started with the Vanity Fair Hollywood issue. In it, there was a chart of actors and their ages. I said to my husband, “I bet you can’t tell me half of these people’s ages.”

So we played it like a game. He had to guess the age of each person on the list, and then tell me why he thought they looked younger or older than they were.

For most people, he was pretty good at guessing correctly, until he got to the women over fifty category. Let’s just say he was far off on those ones.

Let’s start this blog with a little introduction. I’m an avid movie watcher, and I often watch movies from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. And I’ve noticed that some actors and actresses look exactly the same as they did 30 years ago. And other actors look so old now that it’s hard to imagine them as a young movie star.

What causes certain celebrities to age better than others? It’s not just luck. Many of these stars have done things to help them stay young-looking for decades. Here are some of my favorite stars that don’t seem to age or have aged really well over time:

1) Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio started his movie career at a young age, starring in films like What’s Eating Gilbert Grape and The Basketball Diaries. But he became a household name after starring in Titanic in 1997. Since then, he has starred in many films including Gangs of New York, The Aviator, Inception, Django Unchained, and The Wolf of Wall Street.

In this blog, we are going to talk about celebrities. That is, the people whom we have been seeing on screens for years but have not seen them age. These celebrities have been in the limelight for years and still look as gorgeous as they did ten years ago.

When I say that these celebrities haven’t aged, I don’t mean that they haven’t aged at all or that they are ageless. Rather, when you compare their photos today with photos of them a decade ago, they look almost exactly the same.

Let’s start with Halle Berry. She is an American actress and former fashion model who has won many awards like Academy Awards and Golden Globes. She is currently 53 years old but she could pass as a 20-year-old. Her beauty is timeless and her skin glows like a pearl!

On his recent birthday, George Clooney’s age was a hot topic of conversation. Some said he is 52 while others argued that he is still 51. As it turns out, the disagreement came from the fact that some people were using his birth date and others used his birthday. I’m not going to get into the semantics of why people celebrate birthdays and not birth dates, but let’s just agree that both are valid terms for describing the day you were born.

With a little help from Google, I found the answer to be: Clooney was born on May 6th 1961. So, if you were referring to ‘birth date’ then yes, he is 52 years old today. If you were referring to his birthday (his next one will be in May), then he is only 51.

This brings me to my next point: what other celebrities are there whose age is a subject of dispute? For example, in this article on Oprah Winfrey being a billionaire at 59 years old, it says she is actually 58 years old. But she herself has stated in this interview with Jimmy Fallon that she is 59 years old (2:55).

Well, according to Wikipedia, Oprah was born on January 29th 1954
