Leonardo DiCaprio hasn’t won an Oscar, but he is one of the most in-demand actors in Hollywood. His movies have grossed more than $2 billion at the box office worldwide, and DiCaprio has made a career out of tackling all sorts of roles.

Matt Damon hasn’t won an Oscar either — yet. He has been nominated for three Academy Awards, and he is most known for his role in the “Bourne” series. However, he has also performed in several comedies throughout his career.

Both actors are considered to be among the best in the industry; however, they seem to be just as good behind the camera as they are in front of it. Here are five reasons why Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon are great to work with.

1) They’re both known for playing nice guys.

2) They have their own production companies.

3) They’re not afraid to take on new projects that push their boundaries.

4) Both actors have been recognized by the industry for their work behind-the-scenes as producers.

5) They both seem like they’d be fun to hang out with off set!

Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon are often compared. They’re both great actors (although Damon is more of a character actor, while DiCaprio is primarily a leading man). They both started out as teen idols (Damon with Mystic Pizza and DiCaprio with Growing Pains). And they’re both from Boston, although DiCaprio grew up in Los Angeles. But when it comes to the things that really matter, there is a world of difference between them.

It comes down to how much you like your actors to be part of the creative process. DiCaprio has a lot of input into his characters—he works closely with the director and writer on their development, and he’s known for taking roles that allow him to work on improving them during filming. Damon, on the other hand, tends to stay out of the creative process and trusts the script as written. Sandra Bullock recently said that this was what she liked most about working with him: “He knows his character better than anyone. He knows what he wants to say, how he wants to say it, what he doesn’t want to say. He trusts you with your own interpretation of his character. He lets you have your say in it

The two actors have worked together on two films, The Departed and The Great Gatsby. DiCaprio said they are “very similar in their work ethic and their approach to the craft.”

The Oscar nominee also explained why working with Damon is so great, saying they both “feed off each other’s energy” and that they both “really support and want each other to succeed.”

“I think one of the greatest things as an actor is to find somebody that has a similar process and a similar way of approaching their work, and I think we have that relationship,” he said about the Martian star.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon have teamed up for The Departed this fall. But who is the better actor?

Matt Damon has played in many hit movies, like The Bourne Identity and Good Will Hunting, which he won an Oscar for. Damon is a great actor with the ability to transform himself into any role, whether it’s an amnesiac assassin or a troubled genius.

Leonardo DiCaprio has starred in numerous box office hits including Titanic and The Aviator. He is a versatile actor who can play any role from an obsessive billionaire to a rebel with a cause.

DiCaprio and Damon are both two of Hollywood’s most sought after leading men. Though they are both very talented actors, DiCaprio is still the better of the two. He is more versatile and has played more memorable roles.

By the time I got to The Departed, I was excited to be with Matt Damon again. He had a small part in The Good Shepherd, but when Marty Scorsese said, “I’m doing a remake of this Hong Kong thriller called Infernal Affairs,” Matt said, “Oh good because I love that movie.” And he did have a small part in it, which was very much in keeping with the original film, and he just knocked it out of the park.

But by then we had developed a rapport with each other and the way he works is very much like mine in that he likes to do a lot of preparation beforehand. And we really enjoy talking about the script and talking about our characters and talking about how we might approach different scenes or what’s going on beneath the dialogue. So there’s that kind of mutual respect for each other and for the process that makes it very easy.

And then once you get on set you can work at lightning speed because you already know exactly what your intention is in any given moment so you can go through things very quickly. That is not to say that Matt isn’t willing to play around with things and try different things or take
