Jon Snow may know nothing but Kit Harington has nothing but love for his sister Sansa.
Harington’s character, Jon Snow, has been on a journey since the start of Game of Thrones and while he hasn’t always known everything, he certainly knows what his favorite episode is.
“I think my favorite episode so far was last season when I got to meet up with Sansa,” Harington told PEOPLE at the Game of Thrones premiere in Los Angeles. “It was the first time I ever worked with Sophie [Turner] and it was really nice to be working together because we’ve been apart for so long.”
We couldn’t agree more with Harington’s pick as the episode is one of our favorites from the series — and not just because it’s one of the few times that Sansa and Jon are together. The episode marked a major turning point for both characters (and for the entire show) as it proved that they had both grown up and were able to work together.

HBO’s Game of Thrones has a few episodes left in its final season. In just six days, the series will end for good. And even though the show’s beloved characters are facing some serious danger in the penultimate episode, “The Bells,” fans can always count on Kit Harington to provide some laughs to lighten the mood. Harington, who plays Jon Snow on the show, was recently asked by Vulture which Game of Thrones episodes he enjoyed watching the most. And his response might just surprise you.
“I’ve got to say [episode] three [of Season 8],” he told Vulture. “For me personally, it was great fun to film because of that scene with Sansa and Arya and me.” The scene he’s referring to is when Jon is reunited with both of his sisters after they find out his true identity as Aegon Targaryen. Kit Harington, the actor who plays Jon Snow in the hit HBO series “Game of Thrones,” is a huge fan of Sophie Turner’s work as Sansa Stark.
In a recent interview with Vulture, Harington talked about his favorite episode of the show in which Turner appears: “The Door,” which aired on May 22, 2016.
“Sophie Turner [Sansa] was so good in that scene where she had to tell me about Rickon,” he said. “I really thought that was the best acting I’ve ever seen from her.”

It’s a couple of episodes in. They’re standing there and looking out at the north and talking about how it looks like a different world now. And how everything is so much harder now.
It’s almost like they’re looking at each other for the first time as well. It’s very simple, but I think that was a beautiful scene because it’s just showing the two characters growing up basically.”
