We are a full service talent agency. We represent actors, writers and directors in all areas of the entertainment industry.

At ACTING AGENTS we pride ourselves on working closely with our clients to fully understand their career goals and aspirations. Only then do we seek out the right opportunities for them.

The opportunities we create are a direct result of the relationships we have developed over the years with casting directors, studios, production companies and networks. In addition, our clients have direct access to all of our agents to discuss every facet of their career.

Our goal is to help our clients make informed decisions about their career, so that they may achieve their greatest success.

It’s time to kill the Hollywood star system.

With the possible exception of writers, no one in the entertainment industry has a more problematic relationship with agents than actors. And while they may have more competition than most, it’s a simple fact that you can’t get work without an agent.

So how do you decide between them?

There are three major factors to consider:

1) The size of their client roster

2) Their background and experience

3) Their track record

The first is easy to determine. They will tell you how many clients they represent. If they don’t, ask them. If they still don’t answer, walk away. Don’t be shy about this; it’s an important question, and one that can have a big impact on your career.

Acting Agents are the people in charge of finding acting jobs for talent. They are hired by talent to find acting work, and negotiate contracts and salaries for them. An acting agent can also be referred to as a talent agent, or booking agent.

Actors have a few options when it comes to hiring an acting agent. Either they can hire a large agency that operates with many clients, or they can hire a smaller agency that specializes in representing fewer clients.

Acting agents work on commission based on the talents earnings and negotiated contract. The amount of commission that an acting agent receives is anywhere from 10-20%. A 20% commission is standard and is given to the agent by the actor after receiving a paycheck from a project or job. An acting agent will receive a 10% commission if they negotiate a deal with one of their other clients who is also represented by them (example: casting director).

Acting agents spend their time on the road attending auditions, meeting with casting directors and producers, negotiating contracts, and scouting new talent.

Actors are hired to play roles in movies, television shows, and commercials. They may also be hired to perform in live theater productions.

Actors use speech, expressions, body language, and other means of physical performance to portray a character or tell a story.

Acting is sometimes thought of as a glamorous profession, but it takes years of training and hard work to achieve success. Most professional actors have formal training in acting and have done many amateur performances before they get their first paying job.
