How to Enjoy Your Favorite Movies and Shows Without Paying for Cable
A blog about how you can watch movies online for free.
You may have seen the headlines: “How to cut the cable cord.” “Cord cutting is on the rise.” “More people are cutting the cord than ever before.” In 2015, first-quarter earnings reports from companies like Comcast and Time Warner revealed that subscribers were canceling their cable service in droves. The number of cord cutters was up 50 percent from 2014, according to a study by SNL Kagan. A second report credited Netflix with encouraging 3 million people to leave their cable subscriptions behind.
If you’re one of those cord cutters, you’re probably looking for ways to replace your TV shows and movies now that you’ve canceled your cable subscription. Fortunately, there are plenty of resources available online that will give you affordable entertainment options. Read on for a few suggestions about how to keep enjoying your favorite shows without paying for cable!
If you want to watch your favorite movies and shows without paying for cable, there are several ways to do it.
However, if you want to watch a movie that’s only available in theaters right now, or if you want to watch a live TV show as soon as it airs, your options can be a little more limited.
In those cases, you might have to wait until the movie is available on Netflix or Hulu. But the good news is that there are plenty of options for getting your fix of new movies and shows.
Here are some of the best ones:
Watch Movies Online: There are several websites where you can watch movies online for free. You just need to search for “watch movies online” or “watch tv shows online” and you’ll find lots of great sites that let you stream movies or download them to your computer so you can watch them whenever you want.
Many of these sites also offer TV shows and other videos so they’re good places to look if you’re looking for something specific.
Watch Movies in Theaters: If you don’t mind paying a little bit more money, then it’s worth it to see a new movie in the theaters. This is especially true if you like watching new releases with your friends or family
Most of the sites you’ll find on Google and other search engines are either illegal or a waste of time. It’s hard to know what you can trust, and what you should avoid. So I decided to launch this blog to teach others how they can watch movies online for free.
I’ll be recommending the best ways to watch movies without paying for cable, and I’ll also be reviewing some of the most popular streaming services (legal ones, obviously). The goal is to help you cut your cable subscription so that you can start saving money.
A few years ago I got rid of cable TV and instead started watching movies and shows online. At first, I just rented them. But after a while, I realized that there had to be a better way.
Now, I don’t spend any money on cable, and it has been a liberating experience. When you cut the cord, you can watch movies anywhere, like on your computer or phone, and you get access to movies that would otherwise be unavailable to you. You also don’t need to wait for cable companies to add new content because many of these services are available in real time.
I’ve put together a list of my favorite online movie services below. It is completely free to use them (no subscription required) and each one is great for watching movies on your phone or tablet. They’re also great for watching with friends or family members who aren’t tech-savvy enough to install an app on their own devices. Most importantly, they’re all fun!
Whether you’re into the latest superhero movies, classic films, or even if you just want to watch how to make a good PB&J sandwich, there are plenty of great movies and shows available online and on cable. Here are some of our favorites.
If you’ve had your fill of superheroes and sequels, check out these great films:

The Best Actor in the World:
In the history of film, there have been many iconic actors who have taken on the role of villain. From Jack Nicholson to Heath Ledger, a good villain is often remembered more than the hero that has to combat them. With that in mind, I am going to rank my top 5 favorite villains and why I love them so much. To be fair, I am not counting Batman’s rogues gallery of villains as those are comic book villains and not movie villains.
5. Biff Tannen – Back to the Future (1985)
Biff is one of the most despicable characters ever put to screen. He’s a bully, an adulterer and just an all-around jerk. But he makes it on this list because he’s played by Thomas F Wilson and Wilson brings a comedic edge to this character that makes him so much fun to watch. He’s also a character that evolves through the trilogy from being just a high school bully who goes off to join the army to becoming a gambling king pin whose life goes completely off the rails due to his own selfish desires.
4. Hans Gruber – Die Hard (1988)
Hans Gruber is one of those villains that has
