How to Become an Award Winning Character Actor: A blog about becoming an award winning character actor.

This blog will outline how to become an award winning character actor.

It is not easy to become a character actor, but if you follow the steps outlined in this blog you will succeed.

Step 1: Find your inner character

The first step to becoming an award winning character actor is to find your inner character. To do this you need to spend time thinking about who you are and what makes you different from other people.

Some people get their characters from their dreams, others get them from a traumatic childhood experience, and some get them from being in a cult for twenty years. The important thing is that it’s your own. It’s not going to work if you try and use someone else’s character, so don’t even go there. You need something genuine, original and special if you’re going to be an award winning character actor.

Once you’ve found your inner character you have the makings of a solid career as a character actor. All that remains is years of hard work and practice perfecting it so it’s ready for the big time!

This blog is about becoming an award winning character actor. A lot of people want to become character actors, but not many people know how. It’s not just about talent. You also need the right look and attitude.

I’m going to share with you my secrets for becoming a great character actor. I won’t tell you everything, because if I did then we’d all be competing for the same roles, but I’ll tell you enough that you’ll be able to start making your way in this business.

I am an award winning character actor, but I wasn’t always. In fact when I was a young man I had no interest in acting at all. Like so many other young men, I was too busy being handsome and popular to do anything as uncool as act on stage.

Still, it was always there in the back of my mind that one day I would become an actor and win awards for my work. But life got in the way and before I knew it several decades had passed with me not doing anything about acting. Then one day, after my wife left me for another man, my boss fired me from my job for drinking on the job and my house burned down in a freak accident (I wasn’t drunk at the time), I decided it was time to become an award winning character actor. This is how I did it:

If you are here, then you have made the decision to become an award winning character actor. You know that it’s a hard path, but someone has to do it right?

Well, my friend, I am here to tell you that you do not have to do this alone. I have been a successful character actor for over thirty years and now I want to share with you some of my personal tips and tricks.

I have played everything from the love interest in The Night of Love (nominated for Best Supporting Actor) to a cabbie in Taxi Cab Confessions (Best Character Actor). If there is one thing I know about acting, it is how to play a quality character!

Now, I am not going to lie about this process; it will take time and dedication. Some people say that overnight success does not exist, but then again those people are losers.

Also, some people may say that there is no such thing as an “award winning character actor,” but those people are just jealous. So let’s get started shall we?

HOW TO BECOME AN AWARD WINNING CHARACTER ACTOR

AUDITION FOR A KINDERGARTEN PLAY

It is important to begin your career as a child. This will allow you to secure a lifetime of work in the entertainment industry. Audition for any and all kindergarten plays. If you are not five years old, fake it and place yourself in Pre-K. You should be able to secure a role as the Sun or perhaps a tree. The Sun and trees have no lines and it is not uncommon for audiences to mistake their omission for an artistic choice.

If you are unable to secure a role in a kindergarten play, continue to audition for elementary school plays until you reach the age of ten. At this point, you should find that elementary school plays no longer audition children with visible facial hair or breasts. Continue on with your life and stop reading this guide.

If you are able to secure a role in an elementary school play, congratulations! Elementary schools will usually audition three or four children for each part and then randomly assign roles based on absenteeism and the size of their parents’ donations. Your best bet is to audition for multiple roles in multiple plays at once so that instead of being cast as the tree, you will be cast

Laughing at yourself is a great way to get through the day. Especially when you are an award winning character actor. If you have anxiety or depression, laughing can help relieve some of the symptoms. Some of my favorite jokes are about me. Okay, I have a lot of anxiety so I have a lot of jokes about me. Last week I was in the hospital three times. The first time I went into my psychiatrist’s office and he said, “Oh good, you’re here.” And then he kept saying it over and over again until I wanted to leave the room. But then he gave me some pills and sent me home where I felt better for about an hour until I realized that he had given me the wrong pills. It turns out that he had given me anti-depressants instead of anti-anxiety meds. So I went back for more pills but this time my therapist was there so she gave me some more pills and sent me home again where I felt better for about an hour until I realized that she had given me the same anti-depressants as my psychiatrist because they both share the same prescription pad. Then my dog ate all of my anti-anxiety meds so I had to go back to get more but this

Hollywood is a tough town. It’s easy to become discouraged and overwhelmed. There are so many things to learn, and all the books, seminars, blogs and people seem to be saying different things. I spent twenty years struggling without much success before I finally figured out the formula for becoming an award-winning character actor. Here’s how you do it:

First, get a job as a waiter at a place like Spago (Wolfgang Puck) or The Ivy (Gladstone’s 4 Fish). Make sure the waiters are attractive and fit—you want to be in the best shape possible because the competition is fierce. Be friendly and smile a lot, but don’t flirt with the customers. Save that for your fellow servers. You’ll get lots of practice acting on your feet, writing down orders quickly, remembering faces and listening carefully to what people are saying—all essential skills for an actor.

Make friends with as many actors as possible who work there. Go out with them after work—but don’t get too drunk or party too hard or you won’t have the energy for your day job (your night job). Stay in touch with them when they move on to other jobs or other cities. Networking is crucial for success in Hollywood.
