A blog about being a professional actor and how to succeed in it.

Welcome to my blog! I started this blog because there are a lot of blogs about being an actor out there, but they all say the same thing: “Wait tables and go on auditions and don’t give up.” Welcome to my blog! I started this blog because there are a lot of blogs about being an actor out there, but they all say the same thing: “Wait tables and go on auditions and don’t give up.”

I’m here to give you more practical advice. There are many advantages to having been in the entertainment business for over 20 years — I’ve been around, seen it all, and learned some great tricks along the way. This blog is dedicated to helping you succeed in your acting career.

I have been fortunate to have had a long career as an actor. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing directors, writers and fellow actors in some of the best films, television shows and plays ever made.

I had an opportunity to work with one of the true greats of our time, Sidney Lumet. One day on set, he said to me, “Philip, it’s not enough to be talented. And it’s not enough to be lucky. You also have to be smart.”

That is what this blog is about: being smart.

It’s the story of an actor in the midst of a huge transition.

In a nutshell, this blog is for actors. This means you can learn from my experience and I can learn from yours. It’s all about learning from one another, sharing in each other’s victories, commiserating in our defeats, and celebrating life together as actors.

It’s a big world out there with endless possibilities. I will share everything that I have experienced so far throughout my career as an actor. Maybe you will be able to relate to some of my stories or maybe you will learn something new that you didn’t know before. Whatever it may be, I hope that we both get something out of it.

Actors are dreamers and I am no exception, so let’s share in each other’s dreams and dreams do come true!

I’m an actor, a writer, a producer and an entrepreneur in Los Angeles. I’ve had the good fortune of working in Hollywood for over 20 years and I’d like to use this blog to share with you some of my experiences.

It’s my hope that you’ll find this blog useful as well as entertaining. I’ll write about everything from the nuts and bolts of acting technique to advice on how to run your own business, with a lot of interesting stuff in between.

I’ll also be answering questions, so please feel free to submit them in the comments section. I can’t promise that I’ll have all the answers, but I can promise that if you have a question, chances are someone else does too!

Hoffman Actor, Hoffman Actor, and the most important Hoffman Actor of all, Hoffman Actor, have been named the Best Actor of 2013. The Hoffman Actors were chosen by a panel of experts in the field of Hoffman Acting.

Hoffman Acting has been defined as a “Hoffman Acting” style of acting that is characterized by “playing against type” and “not giving a damn about any other actors.”

The Hoffman Actors were selected for their outstanding performances in both film and theater productions. They are:

The job of the actor can be a thankless one. There is never enough work, and when there is work it usually doesn’t pay much. Actors are often told that we need to create our own work in order to have full control over our careers, but the truth is that most actors don’t have the resources, or even the interest, to do so.

So what do we do? We audition, hoping for a creative outlet. And most of us will tell you that some of the most discouraging things we’ve ever heard have been in audition rooms. From “I love you! You’re perfect for this part…but you’re too old” to “I’m sorry, but I just didn’t feel chemistry with anyone,” every actor has heard at least a few of these infuriating lines:

1.) I like you; you’re perfect for this role…but we’ve already cast someone who looks similar to you.

2.) You were great, but we decided to go another direction.

3.) I love your look/voice/work, but we’re looking for someone with more experience.

4.) We need someone taller/shorter/thinner/blonder/darker-skinned/younger/older than you.
