I have been a professional actress for over 12 years now, so I know what it takes to make it in this industry. I’ve made all the mistakes and learned from them. I’ve been blessed with success that has taught me the secrets to being successful in Hollywood.
Here are six tips that will help you reach your maximum potential as an actor or actress in show business.
1. Be Consistent
This is by far the biggest key to success. You must be consistent and persistent in this industry, even if it means being broke for a while or taking a job you don’t like. It’s important to stay busy and keep your name out there. In show business, if you’re not working, you’re not earning money, which makes it hard to maintain an income. This is why actors need to always be working on something, whether it’s an audition or a gig they’re taking just to pay the rent. Staying busy will also lead to more opportunities down the road. Being consistent is true in any profession but especially important when it comes to acting because careers can change at any moment!

I went to theater school in New York, and like any actor, I dreamed of being a famous actress. After graduation, I moved to Los Angeles and started auditioning. It didn’t take long for me to realize that L.A. is full of talented actors trying to break into the business; it’s a very competitive field.
I’ve been acting for years now, and I’m still learning new things every day. But there are some things that I wish I had known when I first started out. Here are some tips that might help you make it as an actor:
