He Pays Celebrities X Amount For A 30-Second Ad: A blog about how much celebrities are getting paid for advertisements.
“Have you ever wondered how much celebrities get paid to advertise various things? I have. So I’ve compiled a list of the amounts celebrities get paid for a 30-second ad spot, or endorsement.”
This is an interesting subject, and the list is informative… but there’s no way Ad Age is going to let you use their numbers.
He Pays Celebrities X Amount For A 30-Second Ad!
Celebrities get paid a lot of money for doing advertisements. The following are three reasons why celebrity endorsements are so expensive.
1) Because there is a high risk of failure
Let’s say you have a product and you hire a celebrity to endorse it because you think that their fame will help sell the product. But what if the celebrity endangers their reputation by endorsing the wrong product? What if they do something bad? What if they get caught in some sort of scandal or controversy that makes people dislike them? Will that make people want to buy your product less?
2) Because they are not interested in long term partnerships
Most celebrities are very busy people with many projects going on at once. They also have limited attention spans so they may not be interested in long term partnerships. For example, one famous actor was hired to endorse a soft drink company’s new soda but he decided not to renew his contract after just two years because he did not feel like drinking soda anymore. He wanted something different from what he had been doing before that time period ended up being much more successful for him than when he was working with this beverage company (he starred in movies such as “The Matrix” trilogy

I have been talking to many friends and family members who are shocked at how much celebrities get paid to be a spokesperson. So I decided to do a little digging and found out that celebrities are getting paid crazy amounts of money to endorse products. For example, Beyonce got paid $50 million just to lend her voice and image to the latest Pepsi campaign. She is getting paid $0.02 per word she says in the commercial! That’s right, she gets paid two cents for every word that comes out of her mouth β it doesn’t matter if they use the commercial or not.
If you are still in shock from that, let me tell you about what Kate Moss is making for her commercials. Kate Moss is being paid $9 million dollars for a 30-second ad! How does that measure up? Well, itβs equivalent to a yearβs salary for an average American worker.
Now let’s talk about the men. George Clooney has reportedly earned more than $40 million dollars from his Nespresso commercials. That’s a whole lot of coffee! Matt Damon is also another actor who has made millions from endorsing products such as Stella Artois, Kyocera and Gucci.
Do you guys ever wonder how much these

Third place went to The Weeknd, he made $92 million from his Starboy World Tour and his endorsement deals with Puma and Pepsi.
Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez tied for fourth place on the list having earned $60 million this past year. Beyonce’s earnings were from her Formation World Tour, her endorsement deal with Pepsi, and her fashion line Ivy Park. Lopez’s earnings were from her Las Vegas residency show All I Have as well as multiple endorsement deals including L’Oreal and Guess Jeans.
Franklin was the voice of Mr. Turtle on “King of the Hill,” and has had several other voice acting roles. He’s also acted in television shows such as “Living Single” and “The Hughleys.”
Franklin says he’s not a huge fan of doing voice work, but is happy he made the money from it.
Benjamin Franklin is the voice of the $100 bill. He was chosen because he had a recognizable face and was well known among Americans. Franklin was born on January 17, 1706, in Boston, Massachusetts, and died on April 17, 1790, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
