Franco Dubois was born on December 25, 1969 in St. Petersburg, FL. His parents were Joanna and Jim Dubois. He grew up in the Florida Keys, but spent his summers in Vermont with his grandmother.

His first acting job was at age 12 when he played the role of a poltergeist in the film The Haunted Child (1982). At age 15, he was cast as Tod Rucker in the television series “The Survivors”. In 1991, he landed a lead role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the film Spider-Man (1991).

After graduating from high school, he moved to Los Angeles and starred in several films such as The Incredible Hulk (1996), The X-Files (1998) and Men in Black (1999). He also appeared on television shows like “Friends”, “ER” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”.

He has been married twice: first to actress Jennifer Aniston from 2005-2008; second time to actress Kate Beckinsale since 2016.

In 2014, he played John Connor in Terminator Genisys.

Franco Dubois is a professional actor based in New York City. He has worked extensively in theatre, film and television; on the stage he originated the role of Sam in A.R. Gurney’s The Old Boy and performed it at Lincoln Center under the direction of John Tillinger.

He has appeared in many roles with the Manhattan Theatre Club, including Donald in The Call by Tanya Barfield (dir. Leigh Silverman), Paulie in The Luck of the Irish (dir. Doug Hughes) and Frankie in Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune (dir. Joe Mantello). His Off-Broadway credits include originating the role of Benjie in Drew Larimore’s The Year of Magical Thinking at MCC Theater (also directed by Joe Mantello), Ronny Cammareri in Over the River and Through the Woods for Primary Stages, Miles Gloriosus for Classic Stage Company and Eric Bentley’s Galileo for Ensemble Studio Theatre. Franco Dubois was born in France from Irish parents who left Ireland as a result of the potato famine. He was raised by his father, Francis Dubois, and his aunt. After attending high school in Paris, he went to New York City where he worked as a delivery boy while studying acting at night. After two years of this routine, his hard work paid off and he got a job on Broadway.

In 1951 he moved to Hollywood where he became one of the most successful actors in television history. He appeared in over 100 films and television shows. His most famous role was that of Inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther movies (1963-1993).

He died on February 18th 2007 at the age of 80 from lung cancer.
