The first is the best. It’s called eLearning Tutorial. I wrote it for a class on American History, and it got me an A. This is just a sample; if you like it, I’d be happy to write an eLearning tutorial for you too.

What do historians mean by “the West”? They don’t mean the West as in West Virginia, which was settled by people from Maryland, who were mostly British in their origins. Nor do they mean the West as in California, which was settled from Mexico, which was colonized by Spain. They mean the West as in cowboys, pioneers, prairiesβ€”and so on.

The term “West” is shorthand for a series of historical developments that began with the European voyages of exploration to North America and Africa and continued with the expansion of industrial capitalism around the globe. The story usually goes something like this: In 1500 Europe was a backward place compared to China and India. Then Europeans discovered America and found gold there, started trading with Asia (by going around Africa), improved their technology (with inventions like the printing press), and began expanding overseas. In 1600 they were still relatively poor but by 1700 they were richer than anyone else. And today we’re all rich

Welcome to the eLearning section of the tutorial. In this section, we will begin with a general overview of eLearning and then move on to more specific topics.

The first topic is an introduction to learning management systems (LMS). LMSs are software programs that help manage students, training, and other types of education. We will discuss how they work and how they are used.

The second topic is a brief course on how to use Moodle, the software program you will use for homework assignments in this class. Moodle is an LMS which means it combines many of the features of a traditional classroom: notes, discussions, quizzes, homework submissions and so on.

The third topic is about what makes for effective eLearning content. While many people think that eLearning can be done simply by adding a quiz or two to a standard lecture video or presentation, there is much more involved in creating good quality eLearning content than that. Effective content requires careful planning and design by skilled practitioners who understand both how people learn and how to create engaging educational experiences.

As you go through each section of this tutorial, please try out any exercises or activities provided within the tutorial itself before proceeding to the next section. This will help your understanding and make it easier

The majority of the American public is still not aware of eLearning. It is a relatively new concept and is usually used in conjunction with other types of training. The best way to understand it is to define what eLearning is not. It is not taking a PowerPoint presentation, adding some voice narration and converting it into a streaming video file. In fact, this type of training would be considered rapid eLearning or rapid content development (RCD). It is also not taking an instructor-led course, such as classroom facilitation, and converting it into an online course with the same structure. This would be considered traditional eLearning. A true eLearning program involves much more than this.

eLearning ranges from computer-based training (CBT) to web-based training (WBT), which are delivered via Internet, intranet/extranet, audio/video tape, satellite broadcast, interactive TV, CD-ROM, DVD or any other media that can deliver digitized information. Spontaneous communication — such as online chat or instant messaging — supports learning that takes place outside formal learning events.

eLearning is an umbrella term covering all forms of electronically supported learning and teaching. It reflects the changing face of learning in a technological age that has led to a

After completing the orientation and receiving your login credentials, you may withdraw from the course within 30 calendar days of enrolling and receive a full refund of tuition. You will not be able to access course materials or submit assignments during this time, but we strongly encourage you to access the orientation prior to withdrawing.

SADIE ADLER, MYSTERIOUS VOICE ACTOR OF RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2… AND WHY SHE SOUNDS FAMILIAR

Sadie Adler, one of the main characters in Red Dead Redemption 2, has an intriguingly familiar sounding voice actor.

If you’ve played through the Red Dead Redemption 2 campaign, you’ll know that Sadie Adler is, without a doubt, the best character in the game. A strong, independent woman who goes from being widowed to wielding a sawed-off shotgun and becoming a bounty hunter herself, she’s been through hell and back during the course of Rockstar’s latest epic.

But it isn’t just her character that makes Sadie Adler so memorable: it’s also her voice. Specifically, it’s that voice actress behind Sadie Adler in RDR2 – and who she actually is…

Sadie Adler is voiced by Alex McKenna – but you might recognise her from something else entirely…
