I am very excited to announce a new project I have been working on for the last few months. It is called Do Good in Your Career, Do Good in Life: A blog about community work and how it can create opportunities for you.

The goal of this blog is to provide practical advice, resources and stories to those who are interested in doing community work.

Are you a student looking for ways to get more involved?

Are you a professional wanting to take the next step?

Are you just curious?

This blog is for YOU!

I hope that this blog will become a great resource for everyone who wants to learn more about how community work can create opportunities for you. The main feature of this blog is the “Actors” section.

Good in Your Career, Good in Your Life It may seem like an odd time to be thinking about community service and your career. After all, aren’t we in the middle of a recession? Aren’t you supposed to keep your head down and get through the next few months (or years) without becoming a victim of the economic downturn? I think those are great strategies for getting by, but if you are looking for ways to distinguish yourself from the pack, there’s a lot to be said for engaging in volunteer work that focuses on the needs of others.

Not only will you be helping people who need it most during this tough economic time, you’ll also be building up your resume – which is always important – but even more so during a recession when competition for jobs is fierce. The more well rounded your experience, and the more self-motivated you can appear, the better!

Volunteering can also help you build a network of contacts that can help when you are looking for work. This is particularly true if you volunteer with organizations that involve professionals and employers who are doing the hiring. Working as part of a team toward a common goal can create great opportunities for partnerships that last beyond these challenging economic times.

So take advantage of this time to do good

Iโ€™ve been to interviews where I was told I wasnโ€™t a โ€œgood fitโ€ or that they were looking for someone with more experience. And I think itโ€™s a load of bull.

Yes, there are people who are born into rich families and have access to the right people and connections. They can buy their way into opportunities that others may not get. But that doesnโ€™t mean you canโ€™t either. It just means you have to work harder and be smarter.

So what does this have to do with volunteering? Well, there are a lot of ways volunteering can help you build your resume and skills, but the best way is through the experience you gain in leadership roles.

How to build your network is a question many professionals struggle with. You might be wondering if it’s even worth it? It is! How to build your network is part for the course when you have a job or career you love.

I’ve worked in many different industries, and in each one of them, my network has been crucial. It’s the single most important factor that has helped me get jobs and find opportunities. However, it’s not just about getting ahead in your career. Making connections can also help you in life.

The Benefits of Networking

There are many benefits of networking. Here are my top three:

Networking helps you get ahead at work. Whether you’re looking for a new role or hoping to progress further in your current job, building your network will make it easier for you to find opportunities and ideas to advance your career.

Building a network helps you find solutions to problems at work faster and more efficiently than googling them on the internet or asking a friend who doesn’t work in the same industry as you do.*

Actors are the ones who do the whole job of entertaining us and make us laugh, cry, thrill and enjoy at the same time. They are individuals who have a flair for dramatics, like to perform on stage, love to act and are ready to face cameras. Actors have always been a part of our society. They have had a different role in each age group. Whatever their role is, they have always made an important contribution in the entertainment industry.

As we all know that there are many actors in this world who have done commendable work in their respective fields and made us proud with their performances, we will be discussing about some of them today. The list contains top ten most famous actors of 2015. These actors all over the world are very popular among the people; all their movies are liked by their fans, who support them through thick and thin times. Letโ€™s start with our countdown from number 10:

We’re getting a lot of people asking about how to get acting auditions. Here’s a quick post to answer some of the basic questions.

First of all, you must know that there are many ways to become an actor. The chances of becoming a famous movie star are so small that it’s not worth thinking about, in the same way that the chances of winning the lottery are so small that it’s not worth thinking about. If you want an acting career, you need to think more broadly than “become a famous movie star.”

In fact, you probably shouldn’t be thinking about “becoming an actor” at all. You should be thinking about “being an actor.” If you want to be an accountant, they don’t let you into accounting school until you’ve passed the CPA exam; if you want to be a lawyer, they don’t let you work in a law firm until after passing the bar exam. But if you want to be an actor, there is no such barrier to entry. All it takes is for someone to say “you’re an actor” and bingo, you’re one. So your main job as someone who wants to become an actor is finding people who will say that about you.

That’s the good

One of the most effective ways to bring your resume and cover letter to life is through the use of stories. These stories, or anecdotes, are usually just a few sentences long and can be used to demonstrate a variety of traits or strengths that you have to offer a potential employer.

Doing so will help you stand out from all the other resumes in the stack, and give hiring managers a compelling reason to invite you for an interview.

In this post, we’ll look at how to use stories effectively in your resume and cover letter. In particular, we’ll discuss:

What stories are, and why they are so effective when added to a resume or cover letter

When and where you should use them

How to write them correctly

Some examples of stories that you can use in your own documents

What Are Stories?

At their core, stories are simply brief accounts of events that have already happened. They are designed to grab the reader’s attention and make him or her want to know more about what took place.
