Christian Actors Ministry is a Christian based, non-profit organization whose mission is to serve Christ within the entertainment industry by providing fellowship, spiritual resources and service opportunities for actors, directors, writers, producers and all others involved in the entertainment industry.
Christian Actors Ministry is an outreach of The Hollywood Prayer Network. Our history goes back over 30 years when some Christian actors felt led by God to reach out to others in their profession.
The Hollywood Prayer Network was founded by actress Carol Bagdasarian in 1984 at the urging of actor/director James Farentino. We are an interdenominational prayer group whose wide membership represents most major faiths and beliefs.
Our desire is to draw those in the entertainment community together in friendship, support, encouragement and prayer with the hope that through our personal relationship with Jesus Christ we will be examples of His love and light to one another.
