This is a blog about Canadian actors who are currently working in television or the movies. Some of these actors and actresses have been in show business for a long time, while others are relatively new to the industry. Some are well-known names, while others are up-and-coming stars. All of them have made their mark on the industry.

I have tried to include as many actors and actresses as possible. If there is someone I missed, please send me an email and I will add them to the list.

This blog is a celebration of Canadian actors who are currently working in television, movies or both. These include people who were born in Canada, as well as those who came to Canada as children.

These are the people that you see on both sides of the border, and around the world. They may not be household names outside of Canada, but they are familiar to millions of Canadians because they were born here and/or came here as children.

Some of these actors have been working for decades, but I’ve tried to focus on those who have been active in the last few years.

Listed are Canadian actors and actresses who are currently working in television, movies, or radio.

We are a group of people who watch a lot of movies and tv shows.

We started this blog to record the names of actors that we see in movies and tv shows that are Canadian. We wanted to do this because we are Canadian and often get excited when we find out an actor is Canadian.

We have been doing this blog for a few years now and it has become quite popular, so we thought that we would share it with more people via our website.

Our goal is to keep updating you on all the new canadian actors that make it big in TV and movies!

Actors from Canada have made the world stage a much smaller place. From the first Canadians to make it big in Hollywood to those who are currently setting the world on fire, you will find them all here – unless of course they are Canadian born actors working in Australia or somewhere else!

I couldn’t possibly list every single Canadian actor working today but I do my best to keep this list as up-to-date as possible and I actively add new Canadian stars as they emerge.

Some might call it a miracle that Canada is known for any actors at all. After all, it’s a country with a population of about 33 million people, which is only slightly more than the state of California. It’s also a country that has given us some of the greatest comedians and musicians in the world. Canada, however, is also home to some of the most beautiful and talented actors in Hollywood. Here are some of our favorites.

Cynthia Preston (born February 15, 1967) played Faith Taylor on the soap opera All My Children from 1990 to 1995, a role for which she received three Daytime Emmy nominations. She had starring roles on One Life to Live and General Hospital and guest-starred on shows like Full House and Beverly Hills 90210. She was married to actor/producer Henry Simmons from 1994 to 2001. They have two children together: daughter Emma (born July 21, 1998) and son Jake (born December 2, 2000).
