Matthew Perry is a Canadian-American actor, who is known for his role as Chandler Bing in the sitcom Friends. He also played the role of Ben Donovan in the TV series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and has appeared in a number of films, including Fools Rush In (1997), The Whole Nine Yards (2000), and 17 Again (2009).

Matthew Langford Perry (born August 19, 1969) is a Canadian-American actor best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the long running NBC television sitcom Friends.[1] He more recently starred as Ryan King in the short-lived sitcom Mr. Sunshine.[2]
Perry’s parents divorced before he was one year old; he was raised by his mother, Suzanne Morrison,[3] a Canadian journalist, and his stepfather, John Bennett Perry (whose surname Matthew later adopted).[4] His mother resides in Ottawa, Ontario. His father is actor John Bennett Perry (b. 1941), who was once married to actress Rachel Ward. Matthew has an older sister named Nancy and a younger half-sister named Caitlin (b. 1987).[5][6] As a child, Perry moved to the Ottawa suburb of Williamstown where he attended Good Counsel School and Ashbury College.[7] He became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1997.[8]

This is where the cerebellum (the part of the brain that controls balance) pushes through the foramen magnum (hole at the base of the skull). As a result of this condition, Perry had to undergo months of painful surgery as a child and has been left with a scar from ear to ear on his neck.
