Agents, Casting Directors and People Looking for Talent: a blog about using your talent to get into the acting business.
“Christian” actors who don’t want to act the parts of characters who are not Christian (e.g., murderers, pedophiles, prostitutes) need to read this blog by Teresa Decher, a Los Angeles casting director who “casts all levels of projects from Network/Cable TV shows to independent film, commercials and new media.” She writes:
I have heard from many of you that you do not want to play any type of negative character because you feel it will tarnish your image or make someone think less of you. You are actors! You might as well put your acting on hold and just write a book about yourself or do a reality show. Yes, there are some people in the industry that feel playing certain types of characters is morally wrong but for the most part those people are not in the position to hire you anyway.

To all agents, casting directors, producers and people looking for talent: my name is Christian. I’m 13 years old, and I’m an actor.
I live in Los Angeles with my mom and dad. They are both actors too; we’re actually a Hollywood family! My mom is on a TV show called Friends, and my dad is on a TV show called 24. Mom says she’s been acting as long as she can remember, and so has Dad.
I love acting more than anything in the world. When I was younger, I used to watch TV all the time, but then one day Mom said to me, “Christian, why don’t you get off the couch and try out for some commercials?” So that’s what I did.
The first commercial I was in was for Burger King! That was such fun because I got to hang out with all of the other kids who were in it with me. We played basketball and stuff while they were setting up the lights and doing their makeup and stuff.
WELCOME

I have spent over twenty-five years in the film business as an actor, director and producer so I have some experience in the industry. I have worked with actors and crew members of all levels of talent and skill and I know how hard it is to find work as well as how hard it is to find good talent.
I hope this blog will be helpful to all involved in the entertainment industry.

If you want to be an actor, there are a few things you need to know. In this article we will look at what it takes to be an actor, and how acting can help you with your acting career.
First of all, acting is not just a talent. It is also a skill. To get into the acting business you have to have both. And that’s where this article comes in.
The first thing you have to do is learn how to act. There are many ways to do this, and some of them are better than others. If you don’t know what they are, or if you’re not sure which one is best for you, here are some pointers:
* You can go to acting school. There are a lot of schools that teach acting, but the most popular ones are the ones that teach “the auditions”. They teach acting by having students audition for roles in movies and TV shows.
* You can take classes from actors and directors who will teach you about acting and how it works. Most of these classes are online, though some of them may be in person (in real life!). The ones I would recommend include: Acting Classes 101 by Amanda Seyfried; Actors Studio by Sarah Silverman; The
Beside voice over artists, actors and actresses are another group of people who can make a living from their talent. There are many ways to do this, but as an actor or actress you could either choose between being self-employed or working for a company.
Being self-employed means that you will have to find your own jobs and produce your own movies. This is not as hard as it may seem, because there are many different ways to do this.
The first way is to start with independent short films. A short film is a film that is usually 10 minutes or less in length and can be used to help promote a feature length film or just be used for entertainment or education. Making an independent short film can be very easy and fun and it will not cost you a lot of money. You can start by looking for other aspiring filmmakers in your area who would like to team up with you on a project. You can also post ads online so that others can see what you are doing and hopefully join in on the project. Once you have found some actors and crew members, the next step is to find locations, props, costumes and anything else you may need to make your film successful. Once you have everything that you need, all that’s left
