As fans eagerly await the final season of AMC’s Breaking Bad, many wonder how the show will conclude. While it may be one of the most popular shows on television, there are still some fans who question the series’ believability. I set out to prove the doubters wrong and meet up with Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman) to debunk their theories. Thankfully, he was more than willing to help out a fellow “brother from another mother” and gave me some insight into what viewers can expect for the remainder of the season.
I always knew that Jesse was a good guy, but after my interview with him I learned just how much he cares about his fans. Even though he had just come from a long day on set, he took the time to give me an exclusive look into his life as a drug dealer and wanted to make sure that no questions were left unanswered. While I cannot yet reveal all of what we discussed, I can tell you that his answers will definitely surprise you!

AARON PAUL IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ACTORS, SO I THOUGHT IT WAS TIME TO GIVE HIM SOME CREDIT.
AARON PAUL IS AN ACTOR WHO HAS APPEARED IN SEVERAL MOVIES AND TV SHOWS OVER THE YEARS, INCLUDING BREAKING BAD, THE X-FILES, AND BIG LOVE.
HIS MOST RECENT ROLE WAS IN THE MOVIE EYE IN THE SKY.
It’s hard to believe it’s been a decade since Aaron Paul first burst onto our TV screens as Jesse Pinkman on AMC’s Breaking Bad.
The hit series transformed Paul from a relatively unknown actor into an Emmy Award-winning star, and though he’s appeared in many projects since the show’s 2013 series finale, none have made quite the same cultural impact.
In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the 39-year-old actor recounts his path to stardom — and what it’s like to still be recognized as “the Breaking Bad guy.”
Paul told the outlet that he was working as a struggling actor when he landed his audition for the role of Pinkman in 2007, but was hesitant to accept it because of its connection to drugs.
“My agent at the time had called me and said, ‘Hey, I just read this amazing pilot script for a show called Breaking Bad… Would you like to audition for it?’ And I said, ‘I don’t know about playing a drug dealer,’ ” he recalled.
However, after reading the script, Paul realized there was more to his character than meets the eye — so he went through
“It was a character I felt so unbelievably passionate about. It was a character that I connected with very strongly and I understood. I understood his anger and his frustration and his pain, but also knew that he had this vulnerability to him that made him such a loveable, lovable person. He’s all over the place. He can be hot-headed and then turn around and be this sweet, beautiful soul. It’s just a great challenge for an actor to play.”
Paul has embraced his Breaking Bad fame by connecting with fans on social media, including Twitter (he has more than 1.3 million followers) and YouTube. In 2011, Paul posted “Aaron Paul Smashes the Breaking Bad Action Figure” on the video site to show his distaste for the product, which he felt looked nothing like him. The video went viral, prompting AMC to release a new action figure closer in resemblance to the actor.
The fan interaction doesn’t stop online. Paul recently appeared at the San Diego Comic-Con convention dressed as Jesse Pinkman (wig and all) and walked around incognito as thousands of fans lined up for autographs from their favorite stars. When Paul finally revealed himself, pandemonium ensued — it was as if Beatlemania had come back for 2015
Aaron Paul is a huge fan of Breaking Bad. The critically acclaimed AMC drama, about a struggling high school teacher named Walter White who turns to making meth in order to pay for his cancer treatment, has been lauded by critics and fans alike. The show’s third season is no exception, with its gripping story-line and stellar performances from the cast.
Aaron Paul plays Jesse Pinkman, a young drug dealer whom Walter White takes under his wing early in the first episode of the series. He’s also one of the only actors to appear in every episode of Breaking Bad, which has been on the air since 2008.
This blog post is part two of an interview with Aaron Paul about his role on Breaking Bad. In part one he talked about how he got started as an actor and what it was like working with Bryan Cranston (who plays Walter White). If you haven’t already read that interview then I recommend doing so before reading this one because it gives you some background information on Aaron Paul’s life before Breaking Bad and how he got started as an actor.
