Many people want to be actors in the movies, on TV shows, commercials, plays, etc., but only a few will make it! So many people have big dreams about being an actor and some of them are not willing to work hard enough for their dreams to become reality. If you really want to be an actor, then this is a guide for you! Remember that I am not guaranteeing you that you will be become famous if you follow this guide because there are many factors that go into becoming an actor. So let’s get started!

The first thing you must know about becoming an actor is the definition. An actor is a person who acts; especially one who acts professionally on the stage or in films or television. To become a professional actor, you must have talent. Talent is what makes people want to see your movies. If people don’t like your movies, they won’t watch them and then you won’t make any money from them. This could end up causing a loss of money for the director and producer because your acting might not have been good enough to cause people to buy tickets to see it. You also need charisma. Charisma is like talent but instead of making people want to see your movies, it makes people want to work with you on movies. If no one wants to work with you, then it will be hard for you to get a job as an actor because directors and producers wouldn’t want to hire someone
One of the most common questions I get asked is how to become an actor. This is true especially for aspiring actors who are not in New York or Los Angeles and feel they are “trapped in a small town”. I always respond by asking them if they have ever heard of Google?
While the internet has made it easier than ever to find the information you need, it can also be extremely overwhelming. There are many ways to become a successful actor. The first step is to get an agent and a manager. To do this, you need to make a show reel. A show reel is basically an audition tape that showcases your acting ability. This can be done by filming a scene with a friend, or going to an audition tape studio. After you have finished making your show reel, you need to send it to as many agencies as possible.
If your lucky, you will get called in for an audition. If you get the part, congratulations! If not, keep trying until you do. You never know when you might get the call. This is exactly what happened to me. After sending my showreel out to about 30 agencies, I finally received a call for an audition for the role of Artax in The Never Ending Story 2: The Next Chapter (1990). I got the part and ended up meeting the love of my life, Sabine Karsenti who played Xayide in the film. Unfortunately, we didn’t end up together because I was too shy and also because she was 17 years older than me at the time.
