The superhero movie is an unstoppable force in popular culture. But how do you even begin to judge the best of the best?

Here are the 5 best superhero movies of all time:

Blade (1998) – The original and still the greatest vampire hunter on screen.

The Dark Knight (2008) – This is what a superhero film should be.

Spider-Man 2 (2004) – The most underrated of all superhero films.

X2: X-Men United (2003) – A brilliant sequel and a great comic book film.

Superman: The Movie (1978) – A cinematic masterpiece that defined what it means to be a superhero.

If you love superhero movies, then do we have a list for you!

There are so many great ones to choose from.

Here are the top 5 best superhero movies of all time:

1. The Dark Knight (2008)

2. Spider-Man 2 (2004)

3. Superman (1978)

4. Logan (2017)

5. Wonder Woman (2017)

I have been watching superhero movies since I was a kid but I have never been a big fan of them. Then my dad took me to the theater to watch Captain America: Civil War and I was hooked. Every day after school, I would go home, turn on Netflix and watch superhero movies. But not just any superhero movie, the best ones. After watching over a dozen different superhero movies, I can finally give my opinion on which are my top 5 favorite superhero movies of all time. To start off my top 5 list is Spiderman Homecoming. This is easily one of the best Spiderman movies that has ever been made and it’s all because of Tom Holland who plays Peter Parker/Spiderman. Tom Holland gives the best performance as Spiderman ever, he makes you believe that he is actually a 15-year old boy from New York City. His relationship with Zendaya and his high school friends feels authentic and real, when in other Spiderman films it always felt forced or fake. The villain of this film also surprised me by how good he was. Michael Keaton does an excellent job at playing Vulture by bringing out his character’s humanity in ways that most villains lack nowadays in films. Overall Spiderman Homecoming is an excellent reboot for the franchise

1. The Dark Knight

Christopher Nolan’s 2008 film is the best superhero movie of all time. It has everything a good movie needs: action, romance, comedy, and drama. Plus, it stars Christian Bale at his best as Batman. This is the one superhero movie that should not be missed!

2. Iron Man

Robert Downey Jr.’s 2008 performance in this Marvel Comics adaptation was unlike anything we had seen before. In fact, the entire film was unlike anything we had seen before! He plays Tony Stark, an arrogant billionaire who creates a powerful suit of armor to fight bad guys in. The film features an all-star cast that includes Gwyneth Paltrow (as Pepper Potts), Jeff Bridges (as Obadiah Stane), and Terrence Howard (as Lt. Col. James “Rhodey” Rhodes).

3. Spider-Man

Sam Raimi’s 2002 film is one of the best superhero movies ever made. The story follows Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) as he struggles with his new powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider while on a school field trip to Oscorp Industries (which just happens to house some superpowered arachnids). He learns how to use these powers for

As the genre has evolved, superhero movies have taken on different forms and themes. Some of them are darker and more serious, like The Dark Knight series, while others choose to take a lighter, more humorous approach, like Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Which is better? That’s a debate for another day. But it’s safe to say that there are great superhero movies out there for any kind of viewer.

Here are the five best superhero movies of all time:

1) The Avengers

The upcoming Thor movie is getting the bulk of the attention, but there’s another superhero film on the way that might just be even better.

Chronicle is a new movie by director Josh Trank and starring Michael B. Jordan, Dane DeHaan and Alex Russell as three high school kids who gain superpowers after coming into contact with a strange substance buried in a hole in the ground. While they’re initially excited about their new powers, things take a turn for the worse when they soon realize that with great power comes great responsibility.

The movie is like The Usual Suspects if it had been directed by M. Night Shyamalan, and it’s one of the most original takes on the superhero genre since Unbreakable or maybe The Incredibles.

Tobey Maguire, who played Peter Parker in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, made the character his own. This year, he turned 40 years old.

In celebration of Tobey Maguire turning 40 this past weekend, we thought it would be fun to take a look at his Top 10 Films according to the Tomatometer. From Spider-Man 3 to The Great Gatsby and beyond, here are Tobey Maguire’s Top 10 Movies according to Rotten Tomatoes!
