A blog about actors that have come and gone over the years on one of the most Watched TV Series.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 13 years since CSI: Miami first aired. It was a spin-off to the very popular original series CSI, but it had its own unique feel.

The show followed a group of investigators who worked for the Miami-Dade Police Department, who sometimes worked with the FBI. It showed the crimes through a forensic perspective using science, and there were other small departments in other cities like Las Vegas and New York that were shown as well.

Horatio Caine (David Caruso) was the leader of the Miami department, and one of his favorite lines would be “back up” to his team when they made a mistake, or when he knew something they didn’t.

Here is what happened to some of the cast members after they left CSI: Miami:

I can’t believe I actually took the time to type this all out, but after watching CSI Miami for so many years I’ve found myself wondering what happened to some of the actors. This is a blog about actors that have come and gone over the years on one of the most Watched TV Series.

THE ACTORS:

Adam Rodriguez played Eric Delko from Season 1-7, he left for unknown reasons, but it’s rumored that he was fed up with being in the shadow of David Caruso and wanted more screen time. He then went to co-star in the ABC series Ugly Betty and now plays a major role in Magic Mike.

Khandi Alexander played Dr Alexx Woods from season 1-3, She apparently left because she thought her character wasn’t developed enough. She can now be seen on Treme and Scandal as well as The Glades.

Emily Procter played Calleigh Duquesne from Season 1-10, Emily left because she was tired of playing the same character after 10 years, but also got pregnant an had a baby girl. Emily has a recurring role on White Collar as well as appeared in A Thousand Words alongside Eddie Murphy.

Boti Bliss played Maxine Valera from Season 1

One of the most popular CBS shows in years, CSI: Miami has given us almost ten years of great entertainment. This is a blog that talks about the actors that have come and gone over the years on one of the most watched TV series.

1. David Caruso: Horatio Caine

David Caruso plays Horatio Caine aka “HC” or “H”. He holds the rank of Lieutenant and is technically in charge of CSI: Miami, but he might as well be a police captain due to his involvement with many cases as well as his field work. He is also a protagonist and main character.

David Caruso has been with this show since its beginning in 2002. He has been an executive producer starting from season 2 until season 6 when he stepped down from it due to creative differences between him and the networks executives over what direction he wanted for his character, Horatio Caine. The show was not affected by his decision to step down from being an executive producer and it still continues on today for its 9th season with no signs of slowing down.

Caruso had a short lived career as an actor outside of CSI:Miami. In 1993-1994 David appeared on NYPD Blue for 11 episodes where he played Detective John Kelly

The CSI: Miami series was about a group of crime scene investigators who worked for the Miami-Dade Police Department. The show was extremely popular and aired from 2002 to 2012. It was one of the highest rated shows in the US when it was on the air. As with most TV shows, the cast changed several times over the course of its 10 year run. Here is what happened to some of the actors on CSI: Miami.

David Caruso He played Lieutenant Horatio Caine, who was in charge of the crime lab team. Prior to being on CSI: Miami, he had starred in NYPD Blue and Michael Hayes, two other police-type shows. He also had a brief part in First Blood (the Rambo movie).

Caruso left CSI: Miami after 4 years to pursue his film career. His first big role after leaving the show was as Detective John Kelly in Kiss of Death. Other notable roles include Jade, Evidence, and An Officer and a Gentleman. He also directed some episodes of NYPD Blue and Cold Case.

Emily Procter She played Calleigh Duquesne on CSI: Miami for 9 years until she left in 2011 for personal reasons. She has acted in several movies including Boogie Nights, Jerry Maguire

The 2000s were a decade of great television. Shows like The Sopranos, The Wire, and Lost showed that the small screen can accommodate big stories. The decade also saw the beginning of what would become some of the most popular shows on television today like CSI: Miami, House, and Grey’s Anatomy.

But one thing many of these shows had in common was their high cast turn-over rate. CSI: Miami is a prime example. The show premiered on September 23, 2002 with a cast of 11. Only two are still on the show today. What happened to the other actors? Let’s find out!

CSI: Miami performed considerably well during its first few seasons and was one of the highest rated shows on television. It introduced a new format to the CSI franchise and was an instant hit. The show had an unusual visual style where it would be shot in a very dark setting and feature several jump cut edits. The series was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television and CBS Productions, which is now CBS Television Studios.

Despite being such a high caliber show, several actors were dropped from the cast over the years. This article will highlight 10 of those actors who were replaced by others on the show.

David Caruso left CSI: Miami right after the first season in 2002 after appearing in 25 episodes. He didn’t leave because he wasn’t happy with the show; in fact, he felt that his role was getting too big for him and that he couldn’t concentrate on anything else.

Alfred Molina from Spider-Man 2 replaced him as Horatio Caine’s partner Detective Frank Tripp in the second season and stayed on until 2006 when he was replaced by Rex Linn because Molina wanted to spend more time with his family.

While CSI: Miami was a very successful spin-off of the original CSI, it didn’t have the same staying power. After 10 seasons, the show was canceled in 2012. Given the sheer number of cast members over the years, it’s safe to say that many of them are still out there working today. But what are they up to? Here are a few of our favorite CSI: Miami cast members and what they’re doing now.

David Caruso

The star of CSI: Miami was David Caruso, who played Detective Horatio Caine. Before his role on CSI, Caruso rose to prominence in the early ’90s with roles in series like NYPD Blue and several made-for-TV movies. Caruso also had a bit part in Michael Mann’s classic crime thriller Heat.

But even with all that success, Caruso struggled to make it as a leading man. After starring in several box office flops like Jade and Kiss of Death, he retreated back to television with his role on CSI: Miami. He starred there for 10 seasons before leaving in 2012 along with the rest of the cast.

Since then, Caruso has focused primarily on his film career again. His most notable role came in 2014 when
